Woman Sues Website After A Background Check Forced Her Husband To Leave


Have you ever felt someone is not being entirely honest with you? Perhaps someone close to you like your spouse or maybe just a friend or a friend’s new boyfriend or girlfriend. We’ve all had that feeling someone just isn’t quite telling the truth.

That’s what happened with Frank last year with his wife Mary. She wasn’t answering his texts very quickly if at all when she was out of the house. The reasons she’d give never seemed quite right and was gone more and more often. Frank started to suspect his wife was cheating on him.

“We had been married 13 years and had our ups and downs but this seemed different”, Frank said. “She never did stuff like this before. Leaving at all hours and never telling me where she is going.”

Frank had finally had enough and decided to start doing some research online. He found a background check site that can give you all sorts of information about someone. In Frank’s case he also found out about quite a bit of online activity from his wife as well.

“When I searched her name it came right up, she had accounts matching her name and email on, and many others.” Frank said. “I just couldn’t believe this was the woman that I married.” even included a screen shot of her profile where it states she is “never married” for relationship status.


After confronting Mary about the situation, Mary did admit to Frank about the affair. She stated she had slept with at least 4 different men within the last 12 months. Frank promptly filed for divorce.

What happened next was amazing to Frank. She has filed suit against both and him for violating her privacy!
