Planned Parenthood claims to be all about protecting women. The facts of the organization such as the number of females they abort and the mothers injured during botched procedures are irrelevant to their liberal agenda. Cecile Richard, the president of Planned Parenthood spoke during the Women’s March in Las Vegas, NV over the weekend and her comments were revealing.
She hailed the victories of women over the past year, but not all women. Her speech divided the winners, women of color and transgenders, from the losers, white women;
“So, white women, listen up. We’ve got to do better. … It is not up to women of color to save this country from itself. That’s on all of us. That’s on all of us.”
This protector of women’s rights, the shining example of care for all women in America, now would like us to understand that any victories over the past year have been due to only certain women. Unsurprisingly, her speech sparked massive controversy on social media where there was further division, those that support Richards and those that are outraged.
I think your comments are unfortunate. As a lifelong feminist in my 70s, I am one of the white women that started a process that more women are joining. That is as it should be but it is a process not a competition and the judgment is unhelpful.

And trans women…don't forget trans women.

Richard spoke about the women of the country but only some of them;
“All across the country, the Women’s March inspired doctors and teachers and mothers to become activists and organizers and, yes, candidates for office. And from Virginia to Alabama and to last week in Wisconsin, women have beaten the odds to elect our own to office. … Women of color, transgender women, rural and urban women.”
The insult to half of the women in America continued;
“These victories were led and made possible by women of color.”
But black women account for the largest demographic of abortions. Not for long though. You're killing us softly with this genocide.

How is it possible to celebrate women’s accomplishments so selectively? Do Richards and the others truly believe that women such as U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley have done nothing for the country’s women? What about all the white politicians, both Republican and Democrat, are they to be discounted?
In fact, Richards just insulted the leadership of the Democratic Party along with many of the high-ranking members although it is doubtful they will object. Nancy Pelosi, Elizabeth Warren, Kirsten Gillibrand, these women should all be angry over their involvement being dismissed.
Lefties identify people by Race. Hitler would be proud.

Richards doesn’t believe that all is lost though if white women will just step up she states;
“The good news is when we are in full on sisterhood, women are the most powerful, political force in America.”
Someone needs to inform her that if you want a powerful force, it is best to not divide your base before you even get started.
