There are many, many people who are against abortion for a number of reasons, but not when the child in question is to be born with dreadful disabilities. The pros, cons, and moral stances in such cases are far to complex to address in one mere article. However, there are those parents who would not have aborted their children no matter what the problem is or was, and it was just such a parent who was insulted by a recent pro-choice posting, Fox News reports.
Disability advocate Natalie Weaver is said to have “slammed Twitter for not clamping down” on an account that used a photo of her severely disabled daughter to push for abortion’s need. The offended mother tweeted of the mistake, “Just received an email that Twitter doesn’t think a person using my child’s image as the poster child to ABORT & to weed out all the “defectives” in utero is a violation. Why? Bc they won’t recognize hate toward ppl w/ disabilities in their regulations/reports.”
“It is okay to think that every child matters, however, a lot of them do not hence the amnio test which should be a mandatory test and if it proves negative and the woman does not want to abort then all bills accrued after that is on her and the father,” user @OBSIDIANSMOAK had said.

First of all, who made this user God say who is going to pay based on what?
Secondly, if a mother wants to abort a disabled child, that may be their right, and it would be supported by many. However, to mandate it is something else entirely.
Twitter has, only after much backlash, suspended the offending account. “When we make a mistake, we work to ensure it’s quickly corrected,” said a Twitter spokeswoman in a statement for Fox News. “Our team reviewed the report again and suspended the account in accordance with the Twitter Rules.”
Sophia, the child whose image was used to promote the idea that she would be better off dead, has Rett Syndrome. This affects mostly girls and any child suffering from this dreadful malady will have trouble speaking, eating, walking….even breathing. On top of this, doctors do not even know what is causing her facial deformities, which also pose a problem for her.
Weaver, who co-founded Advocates for Medically Fragile Kids NC, is urging Twitter to get tougher on those who write hateful things about those with disabilities. “I would like Twitter to also add ‘hate towards people with disabilities’ to their violation reporting categories,” she said.
Sophia, described by her mother as “an amazing little girl,” must have “extensive medical care,” and some parents would have chosen to abort under such circumstances.
Still, to those who have no regrets about their children no matter what, they don’t need pro-abortion groups making their lives any harder than it already is by using images of their beloved children to promote an agenda.
