A cartoonist has published a drawing that attacks Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh‘s young daughter for praying. On Sunday, a Twitter user brought attention to a drawing from Chris Britt, who submitted “art work” to the Illinois Times.
The image, many would agree, is downright disgusting, shameful, and should never be allowed on social media. But given Twitter’s more than apparent bias against conservatives, the drawing is still circulating and has not been taken down.
The double standard here is sickening, many agree, and so is this person’s warped sense of humor.
The image shows one of Kavanaugh’s younger daughter’s kneeling over her bed, and saying a prayer. “Dear God, forgive my angry, lying, alcoholic father for sexually assaulting Dr. Ford,” Britt wrote on the cartoon.
Here’s the image below:
To Whom it May Concern at .@ILTimes:
I would like to formally lodge a protest at the disgraceful sketch by your cartoonist, Chris Britt, depicting the 10 year-old daughter of Judge Brett Kavanaugh.
It contravenes every standard of decency in our society. Please remove it. pic.twitter.com/WWpI2f9NVA

Britt’s utterly ridiculous drawing was in response to Kavanaugh’s hearing last week before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
The saga began last month with Christine Blasey Ford, who alleges Kavanaugh groped her at a high school party around 1982. There are no witnesses corroborate the tale and Kavanaugh has vehemently denied any wrongdoing, attending the supposed party, or ever even knowing Ford.
Both Ford and Kavanaugh testified before the Committee last Thursday about the allegations.
In arguably the most powerful moment of the hearing, Kavanaugh revealed that his 10-year-old daughter asked the family, the night before the hearing, to pray for the woman who was accusing her dad.
While holding back tears, Kavanaugh indicated that he and his daughter prayed for Ford and her family as everyone is trying to cope with the entire ordeal.
Kavanaugh said his daughter asked, “can we pray for the woman,” referring to Ford.
Britt’s nasty cartoon is in response to Kavanaugh revealing that he prayed with his daughter for Ford.
Rather than an editorial praising Kavanaugh for raising such a kind and compassionate daughter, Britt jumped straight into attacking a 10-year-old and smearing the SCOTUS nominee with false claims.
There’s literally no evidence at all to support claims from Ford or any of the other people who have levied flimsy allegations against Kavanaugh in recent weeks. The accusations are nothing more than “he said, she said” claims, yet Kavanaugh is being smeared and portrayed as a sexual predator.
Aside from having major holes in the allegations from all five accusations, Britt’s disgusting cartoon is emblematic of what Kavanaugh is up against and what his family has been dealing with every single day.

After his opening rage died down, #Kavanaugh suggests that Dr. Ford may have been SEXUALLY ASSAULTED by someone else, and then he broke down in tears.
