Trump Vows To Terminate NAFTA If Mexico Doesn’t Stop Flood Of Illegals

Trump threatens to pull out from NAFTA if Mexico doesn't contain immigration issues.

Trump threatens Mexico for not combating illegal immigration.

President Donald Trump vowed to pull the United States from the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) agreement if Mexico doesn’t increase efforts to combat the flow of illegal aliens traveling toward the U.S., according to the Daily Caller.

Furthering his vow to make Mexico pay for the border wall, President Trump fired off a handful of explosive tweets on Sunday.

By building a wall and preventing nearly all illegals from entering the U.S., Mexico will be stuck dealing with the problem and will save America millions that would’ve gone to support illegals.

The president called out Mexico for allowing a “caravan” of illegal immigrants from Central America to travel unimpeded toward America’s southern border.

“Mexico is doing very little, if not NOTHING, at stopping people from flowing into Mexico through their Southern Border,” Trump wrote, adding that he will stop their “cash cow, NAFTA” if actions are not taken to address immigration.

Since last week, thousands of Central American immigrants have crossed immigration checkpoints in Mexico without any hesitation.

Without Mexico doing anything at all to stop them or send them back home, the group has made it clear they are coming to infiltrate the U.S.

Citing Mexico’s refusal to quell the flow of immigrants, Trump renewed calls for his wall along the southern border between the U.S. and Mexico.

In two additional tweets, Trump also took dead aim at democrats for refusing to find a solution to the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.

“NO MORE DACA DEAL!” Trump wrote, referring to the program currently shielding least 800,000 illegal immigrant children who came to the county with their parents.

Trump said Democratic Party leaders who refuse to provide adequate funding to secure the border are preventing U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents from apprehending illegal aliens.

Trump also said the Central Americans immigrants are trying to “take advantage of DACA” so they could gain easy access to the U.S.

The DACA program not only shields illegal aliens, it often times gives them benefits and resources that should go to American families and children.

Trump has offered democrats several opportunities to strike a deal on DACA, but they continue to refuse.

Like the Democratic Party, Mexico has also largely refused to address illegal immigration.

Mexico may believe dragging its feet will be beneficial, but the financially boot-strapped nation can’t afford to lose out of NAFTA and the benefits it reaps from the agreement.

Mexico is paying for the wall one way or another. They can choose how painful it will be.
