A new report from The Wall Street Journal alleges that ‘people’ say President Donald Trump directed Michael Cohen, his former personal attorney, in February to take legal action against adult film star Stormy Daniels. Like most media ‘bombshells,’ the only sources for the claims are anonymous and not one specific person was named to corroborate the allegations.
The Journal, citing anonymous people, claims Trump told Cohen to file a restraining order against Daniels through a confidential arbitration proceeding earlier this year, to prevent her from publicly speaking about their alleged affair.
Sources claim Trump directed Cohen to coordinate with Eric Trump, one of the president’s sons, and another outside attorney to handle the legal action.
The media has used the report to allege the president was part of a nefarious plot to take legal action against Daniels before she was reportedly set to make a media appearance at the time.
Daniels is locked in a court battle regarding the nondisclosure agreement she signed with Cohen, which reportedly resulted in her being paid $130,000 in 2016, to remain quiet about her allegations.
Daniels claimed that she had an affair with Trump in 2006, but Trump has vehemently denied the claim. She is suing so she can legally speak out about the alleged affair and break her nondisclosure.
While the media and her creepy porn lawyer have done almost everything imaginable to portray Daniels as the victim, recent developments have unearthed many explosive details about the adult film star that were previously unknown.
Daniels husband, who has filed for divorce, was recently granted a restraining order against her after it was revealed that the adult film star had their young daughter around several other adult film stars at raunchy events.
Earlier this year, Daniels was also arrested in a sting operation at a strip club in Ohio, where she was placed in handcuffs after shoving an officer’s head into her breasts while performing on stage.
These are just a few examples of Daniels behavior, history, and character; yet, the mainstream media has been supremely focused on weaponizing Daniels’ allegations to attack the president.
Many conservatives wonder where this ‘concern’ was when Bill Clinton was accused of rape, and Hillary defended him by trashing the victims who spoke out.
As the Journal admitted, not one person is on record corroborating the claims that Trump sought a restraining order against Daniels earlier this year.
And even if the president did, many would agree with Trump’s decision to defend his name against salacious smears and allegations from a woman who committed adultery for a living.
Despite no evidence or witnesses outside of “he-said, she-said,” the media is running rampant with another shoddy story to levy attacks against Trump.
