Trump Just Let Loose His Possible Picks, You Won’t Believe The New Names

BREAKING Trump Just DESTROYED Hillary On Live TV, Says THIS

We are just two weeks away from the Republican National Convention, which is very exciting, but we are also close to finding out who Donald Trump will choose as his running mate. There have been quite a few names to enter and leave the list, but Trump may be down to a handful of people now.

While Trump could still choose someone not listed here, it is very likely that he will pick of these three to be his running mate. Trump has helped fuel the rumors by speaking extremely favorably about a few potential choices as well as having a few join him at speaking events.

The speculation and excitement began when Donald Trump tweeted out three names, two of which were not particularly surprising, and one came from left field for most. Trump mentions Senator Tom Cotton from Arkansas and Indiana Governor Mike Pence.

Just to add even more flavor, Trump also mentioned meeting with Iowa Senator Joni Ernst, a name that had not been thrown around a lot by that many political analysts until Trump mentioned her as a serious possibility.

Joni Ernest is well-known as being a young, rising star for Republicans as a strong conservative representing Iowa. Ernst rose to fame well before she won her Senate race in 2014 when she compared what she planned to do as a senator in Washington, D.C., to castrating pigs on a farm. Yes, that was bold; and yes, it worked.

To most people’s surprise, Trump didn’t mention former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, who has been considered by many pundits to be Trump’s best choice and his top contender. Another name that has been swirling around is New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who is also considered a likely candidate, but hasn’t been mentioned by many as a serious choice.

Ultimately, Trump will need to make a decision soon, but there really isn’t any rush. Naming someone and introducing them at the Convention will show a strong, united party and will give voters a lot to be excited about. It doesn’t matter who Trump picks, because they’ll still be better than Hillary Clinton.
