President Donald Trump has repeatedly referred to the major news outlets as ‘fake news’ for their extreme leftist bias. Recently, the liberal trend has expanded onto social media platforms censoring conservative or otherwise deemed ‘controversial’ voices such as those of Alex Jones and Candace Owens, just to name a few.
While the left may write such censorship off as ‘hate speech’ or a right-wing conspiracy, a recently circulated memo outlines four major media companies that have been part of a conservative censorship coordinated plot since at least 2017. It will be difficult for the left to deny that such a plan was in effect all along considering that the memo explicitly states having specific goals such as “to resist the normalization of Donald Trump” since his election. Even more revealing but not entirely shocking, it has also been revealed that Hungarian investor George Soros has been funding such a mission.
Following President Trump’s victorious election, at a conference in Florida in January 2017, Media Matters founder and ‘Clinton loyalist’ David Brock composed a ‘private and confidential’ memo titled ‘Democracy Matters: Strategic Plan for Action.’
Shortly after, the Washington Free Beacon released the memo, exposing the plan to decrease President Trump’s popularity, ultimately leading to his impeachment.
Included in the plan were Media Matters: For America, American Bridge: 21st Century, CREW, and Shareblue. Each company was given a specific goal to infiltrate the media, as confirmed by the memo’s horrendous instructions.
The memo begins with the typical democratic inability to accept that they lost an election, expressed by the following disgusting statements:
The country did not vote for Trump-style change.
Trump has the legal authority, but we have the moral authority – and the moral responsibility to oppose him.”
It continues to outline a plan which claims to ‘resist’ all the allegations that liberals often claim of him: cronyism, racism, and “his every move toward authoritarianism.”
While the vast majority of conservatives would argue that the left is the more (obnoxiously) vocal of the two parties, Brock had the audacity to claims that “democrats got clobbered in the digital space,” implying that republicans won the election with “fake stories” that dominated the media.
The memo subsequently outlined a detailed plan for how the left is to work to regain the media.
Media Matters, it states, will continue “disarming right-wing misinformation” that is supposedly “threatening the country’s ecosystem.” The ‘success’ in doing so, the memo states, will manifest with media platforms “expos[ing] and discredit[ing]” what it considers to be “toxic, alt-right, social media-fueled harassment campaigns.”
American Bridge was appointed with the mission of ‘opposition research’ to discredit information that benefits the republican party. Such is explicitly stated through the ‘success’ goal of President Trump being impeached or otherwise defeated in the 2020 election.
It further states that if American Bridge is able to do so, that “We will free ourselves from solely relying on the press. Our robust digital program will reach voters directly online.”
CREW was essentially given the job of making President Trump and his administration’s lives miserable by being a ‘watchdog group’ which, if successful in uncovering Trump-related scandals, will tarnish the commander in chief’s reputation and efforts through “damaging information” and the administration being “forced to defend illegal conduct in court.”
Concluding the memo’s introduction is the corrupt plan reading that, “Shareblue will take back social media for democrats. We will delegitimize Donald Trump’s presidency by emboldening the opposition and empowering the majority of Americans who oppose him.”
If successful, “Trump allies will be forced to step down or change course.”
While the memo, which spans 49 pages, was released over a year and a half ago, it has come to new light considering the recent social media censorship which has indisputably been targeting right-wing views.
Conservatives who have observed such or been victim to can attest to this, yet such is clearly obvious to many, and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey even admitted in an interview with CNN on Saturday that Twitter does, in fact, have a ‘left-leaning’ bias.
While Dorsey further claimed that Twitter “only polices behavior on the platform, not content,” aforementioned republicans would agree that the memo’s plan was unfortunately successful in pointing the media directly to the left.
The answer, it appears lies in George Soros investing in Media Matters and other ‘tech giants’ that share the anti-Trump goal.
While Soros formerly claimed that social media is a “menace to society,” he has continued to invest in “Facebook, Twitter, and streaming services Spotify and Pandora.” Even more hypocritical considering Soros’ wealth being used to censor voices per the memo’s instructions, Soros previously claimed that offending companies “manipulat[e]…[users’] attention and direct it towards their own commercial purposes.”
Commercial, or political?
The memo, which seemingly has been carried out, is abundantly clear of its political intent.
The recent revelation and update are sure to come as a shock to a number of conservatives considering that despite the memo’s claims, the American people did elect President Donald Trump into office.
Even more disturbing is the fact that the media attempt to suggest otherwise is being funded by billions by those with a leftist agenda.
