The Second Amendment in the United States once again resolves a situation before anyone innocent is hurt. It seems that there are many times when robbers are able to use their intimidation or use of fear to steal from a business but there are those who will not see them escape so easily. Three Taco Bell employees stopped a robbery from taking place due to their use of concealed carry permits and effective training. It seems that criminals across the country tend to forget that citizens in this nation are allowed to protect themselves and their possessions thanks to our founding father who foresaw the rise of criminal tyrants.
The robbery occurred somewhere between 1 and 3 am on Wednesday miring when two armed men ran into the building wearing masks and brandishing firearms demanded everyone lay on the floor. With guns pointed to their heads, two of the five employees did as they were told and laid on the ground and let the robbery occur.
The three other employees had alternative plans in mind as they calmly proceeded to assess the situation, reassure their other coworkers, and surprise the would be robbers with weapons of their own. The three concealed carry permit holders drew their weapons and opened fire on the thieves.
After the initial chaos of the firefight, the assailants managed to escape but not without suffering heavy losses. The three heroes managed to get the drop on the two robbers as the thieves must not have thought that Taco Bell employees would be so heavily armed. The three workers managed to scare one of the thieves off instantly as cowards and criminals usually tend to flee when trouble arises.
However, the other robber was not so lucky as he was shot six times by the Taco Bell employees resisting the theft from taking place. By the time the police arrived however, the two suspects managed to escape off to the surrounding area.
After searching for some time, the police managed to find one De’Carlo Jackson, 24, bleeding to death with 6 gun shot wounds in his torso. They tried to get him to a hospital as quickly as possible in order to perhaps save the man and serve more justice but he was pronounced dead after a short while in the hospital.
The identities of the three Taco Bell employees has not been released as there were no charges filed against the employees. It is said however that these three heroes were all around the millennial age as two were 19 and the other was 23, three young adults who properly know how to use firearms is a proud sight these days.
Despite claims from the left, guns are as vital to Americans today as they have ever been. The growing political violence in the United States should prompt many to brush up on their Second Amendment right before the left has their way and passes gun control laws through local and state politics.
The fact that these three young adults were responsible enough to own the weapons and properly use them to deescalate a dangerous situation should be a relief to many as concerns over the radicalization of current generations continues to grow. Many see millennials as lazy liberals with no work ethic but these three heroes stand out as beacons of hope for those in the generation that feel lost because they like to work and own a weapon.
Despite finding the body of Jackson with the gun used to start the robbery, police were unable to find the other suspect who left their friend or partner to die. It is always sad to see anyone die, especially while committing a dangerous crime they probably knew they should not have done. Obviously many would have rather seen the two men caught and served justice the more traditional way of rotting in jail cell versus a coffin but criminals must be reminded that there are those in the country who will not sit idly by while wrongful acts are carried out.
Seeing three young people use their Constitutional rights to defend the place they work and those around them makes me incredibly happy because many in their generation call for the removal of those very rights.
