“This Assembly Does Not Have The Power”: United Nations SLAMMED, Resolution Passed

United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley blasted the General Assembly for trying to dictate American foreign policy. A resolution condemning the United States economic embargo against Cuba passed by a 191-2 vote, with only Israel voting with Haley against the measure.

Haley explained to Muslim and communist sympathizers that the American people had chosen a new president and a new path, and she would vote against any resolution that called for the lifting of the embargo “as long as the proceeds from trade with Cuba go to prop up the dictatorial regime responsible for denying [the people’s] rights.”

She also, quite boldly, told the assembly that they have absolutely no power over the United States, and the “political theater” was a waste of time.

She clearly explained that the United States is not beholden to the UN and that they do not have the power to impose any policy on America.

“Let’s be honest about what we really see going on here,” Haley said. “This assembly does not have the power to end the U.S. embargo. It is based in U.S. law, which only the United States Congress can change.”

During the last two years of his reign, when Obama was busy bowing to communists after secret talks with Raul Castro (Fidel’s brother), the former president worked to end the embargo against Cuba. In 2016, the U.S. abstained from the vote that condemned it for the first time in over a half a century.

Obama was actually responsible for lifting some sanctions and allowing the communist government to broker trade deals that enriched the regime. While couching the scam as a way to help struggling Cuban businesses, the reality was that the government collected the revenue and used it for something. Who knows what?

Basically, liberals told Americans that ending the embargo would be good for the people of Cuba. They were supposed to be enriched by the change and grow in “democracy.” But that was all a blind. Because of the way business is set up in the country, a large majority are operated by the Cuban Military, or another branch of the government. So, Obama was essentially allowing the communist regime to prosper.

Perhaps some of the money went to develop or assist the development of a sonic weapon? This year, a mass of strange acoustical attacks have seriously jeopardized the health of U.S. diplomats stationed in Cuba. Earlier this month, the president pulled almost everyone out of Havana over health concerns. People are still being subjected to the strange noise.

The State Department has not claimed that Cuba is solely responsible for the attacks, but many Cuban-American officials and regional experts maintain that the government is at least complicit, despite the fact that Cuba has denied any knowledge of the sonic weapon.

Israel was the only country to stand beside the United State in opposing the resolution that is voted on every year.

Regardless of whether they know about it, or are responsible for it, the country does have an obligation to protect the lives and health of the diplomats posted there, according to the Vienna Convention regarding diplomatic relations.

President Trump is championing individual liberty. Haley explained that the United States is opposing the resolution for the Cuban people “and in the hope that they will one day be free to choose their own destiny.”

“Each year, this Assembly’s time is wasted considering this resolution,” Haley told the assembly. “And the United States is subjected to all manner of ridiculous claims – anything to deflect attention from the regime that is actually responsible for the suffering of the Cuban people.”

Cuban officials were angered by Haley’s speech and called it “disrespectful.” They consider it disrespectful to call them on their abuses much like other dictators in the past have been offended when questioned on practices of genocide.

Haley clarified the reason why she opposed the resolution saying, “To those who are confused as to where the United States stands, let me be clear: as is their right under our Constitution, the American people have spoken.

She added, “They have chosen a new president, and he has chosen a new ambassador to the United Nations.”

Many Americans feel that it is simply wonderful to have a representative in the U.N. who actually believes in American sovereignty. During the last eight years, the previous administration was ready to sacrifice every idea of freedom citizens hold dear and comply with the globalist push for totalitarian rule.
