“Few Things More Disturbing”: Dem Leader Sounds Off As Republicans Uphold Promise

House Minority Leader, Nancy Pelosi, has shown staunch opposition to the tax cut bill

House Minority Leader, Nancy Pelosi, has shown staunch opposition to the tax cut bill

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) has made it abundantly clear how she feels about Trump’s new tax cuts. She called the tax cuts “brazen theft” from the middle class.

“This GOP tax scam is simply theft – monumental, brazen theft – from the American middle-class, and from every person who aspires to reach it. The GOP tax scam is not a vote for an investment in growth or jobs, it is a vote to install a permanent plutocracy in our nation. They’ll be cheering that later,”  said Pelosi from the House floor.

She rallied against the bill, now law, and threw every exaggeration and fabrication she could in order to derail the popular legislation. And she made a public spectacle of herself in the process. Again.

Pelosi accused Republicans of embracing “moral obscenity and unrepentant greed” during the “holy season” by passing historic tax-reform before Christmas. Pelosi scolded the Republican Party, telling them to rethink the bill she believes will only benefit the rich.

And in standard hyperbolic fashion likened to Michael Moore films, she added that any vote for the bill was “a vote to install a permanent plutocracy in our nation.”

“In this season, we celebrate the miraculous blessings of God. We reflect on the wondrous joy of children and our responsibility to them. We remember our duty to live justly. And for those of us blessed to serve in this Congress, we must remember our special responsibility to govern fairly, to meet the needs of all of God’s children.”

She then continued, saying that the bill “does violence to the vision of our Founders” and “disrespects the sacrifice of our men and women in uniform. And it betrays the future and betrays the aspirations of our children.”

The irate Democratic “leader” then went on a rant on Twitter, where she continued to perpetuate the lie she concocted about the tax cuts only serving to make the rich richer.

Pelosi had tried this poorly crafted lie before, but was shot down by another Twitter user who pointed out her hypocrisy. Pelosi is a millionaire, and the tax cuts will certainly benefit her.

But beyond that, her rants failed to prove how the tax cuts could hurt the middle class.

“At this point, it’s clear tax cuts for the rich are part of the Republicans’ DNA, no matter who it hurts.” #GOPTaxScam #BillionairesFirst, Pelosi wrote just days before the tax bill passed the House.

This wasn’t the first time Pelosi has shown herself to be nothing more than another lying, manipulative, self-interested Democrat. Earlier this year during a press conference, Pelosi claimed the tax cuts would bring about “the end of the world.” Yes, Nancy, tax cuts will bring about Armageddon.

Nancy Pelosi’s Twitter account followers know she’s a hypocrite

She really didn’t need to have another public meltdown to express her disapproval of the bill.

Maybe she should have just waited for it to pass “to see what’s in it.” Because it’s become pretty clear she has no idea what the tax cuts really entail. Or she’s flat out lying in order to circumvent the government actually doing something that benefits its citizens. Her asinine and unproven statements were then echoed by everyone’s least favorite Socialist, Bernie Sanders.

His series of tweets called the tax cuts the “greatest heist” in American history. It’s ironic that a man who ran his presidential campaign based on taking money from the producers would call tax cuts a heist.

New tax rates under Trump

It seems to me that Democrats and Liberals will break down over just about anything. And they will continue to feed the masses a false narrative, even if evidence to the contrary is presented. Just this week, the House passed a sweeping $1.5 trillion tax bill that slashes the corporate tax rates.

The cuts also provide new breaks for private businesses, as well as and reorganizing the individual tax code. The bill quickly passed the Senate, and is now headed to President Trump’s desk to be signed into law. Not a single Democrat supported the bill. There were also 12 Republicans who voted against it.

According to President Donald Trump, tax cuts are “one of the great gifts to the middle income people of this country that they’ve ever gotten for Christmas.”

House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wisconsin showed his support of the bill, saying it’s purpose is a “middle-class tax cut, to give people more take-home pay.
