Try and remember the last time you heard a news story about a Christian or Jewish person being the victim of a hate crime. If you can’t, don’t be surprised. The liberal controlled media wants you to believe certain ideas.
According to mainstream media, Muslims are the religious group that is being persecuted for their faith. Not many days go by that they do not report on the latest hate crimes. Real or faked, they don’t seem to care, as long as they can paint Muslims as a suffering people that we must save.
You are being brainwashed every time you watch the news or open a newspaper. We are subjected to story after story condemning Christianity and those who would label themselves Christians. When did it become a crime to believe in God?
Here is the problem; this Muslim hate is a creation of liberals and their quiet but powerful war on Christianity. They have led us to believe a lie while the real hate crimes are happening without comment.
Massimo Introvigne, Director of the Centre for Studies on New Religions (Cesnur) took to Vatican Radio to talk about the Centre for the Study of Global Christianity releasing their 2016 study. You won’t hear about this on American mainstream news, it is vital to them that you don’t know these shocking numbers.
Last year, 90,000 Christians were killed for their faith. That is approximately 1 person every 6 minutes. If 1 Muslim was being killed in the United States every day, the news would be screaming religious war. Yet not one sound bite given to 240 Christians killed each day.
Let’s be hopeful though because according to Introvigne, the number of Christians killed is down from 105,000 in 2015.
Approximately 70% of these killings are being done in Africa during the course of tribal wars. The other 30% of murders were committed in terror attacks, the destruction of Christian villages, or government persecution.
It is easy to brush off as an issue that is only relevant in other parts of the world. There are two reasons why that train of thought is dangerous. One; the citizens of these country are on the move and the places they are heading include the United States. In 2013 there were 1.8 million African immigrants living in the U.S.
Two; for most of our history, America has gotten involved with the world’s problems. For good or bad, we are a country of assistance. We have been engaged in the Middle East for 26 years. Since 77% of American identify as Christians, this seems to be more of our problem than a war involving Muslims.
Mr. Introvigne raised a point in stark contrast to the stories of interfaith wars; many Christians are killed due to refusing to take up arms for reasons of conscience. The Bible, unlike the Quran, does not guide its followers to kill non-believers. While the history of Christianity is not free of violence, the modern day churches advocate against continuing hateful acts.
“The Islamic state also kills many Muslims and in 2016, according to our estimates, the number of Christians killed for their faith and the number of Muslims killed for their faith, except for the Africa, is a very similar number.” Introvigne points out. Perhaps if Christians started killing each other, the other religions would leave them alone.
Besides the killing of Christians, we see a massive number who are afraid to even admit their faith. Introvigne says that the estimates are 500 to 600 million Christians who cannot openly profess their faith because of the simple fear of being killed.
- Quran (3:56) – “As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help.”
- Quran (8:12) – “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them”
- Quran (9:14) – “Fight against them so that Allah will punish them by your hands and disgrace them and give you victory over them and heal the breasts of a believing people.”
- Quran (25:52) – “Therefore listen not to the Unbelievers, but strive against them with the utmost strenuousness…”
- Quran (48:29) – “Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. And those with him are hard (ruthless) against the disbelievers and merciful among themselves
It is not difficult to understand where Muslim violence comes from. Their religious text is full of passages such as the above calling for hate and killing against anyone who is not Muslim. Yet our own government would have us shelter refugees, grant asylum to Muslim criminals, and forgive Muslim terrorists.
Our children are being taught tolerance for everyone except for the people who are probably living in their town. Christian children are not allowed to even say the Pledge of Allegiance but Muslims demand prayer rooms in every college building.
Major athletes refuse the National Anthem and encourage children to do the same but coaches are being prosecuted for allowing their team to say a prayer before a game.
Religious killings and hate crimes are taking place; there is no doubt about that. We must begin questioning who the real victims are. Without challenge, the liberals win the religious war and Christians continue to be persecuted.
