When vandals destroyed President Donald Trump‘s star on the Hollywood, California, “Walk Of Fame,” the media had a field day each time. Thugs, criminals, and garden-variety leftists trying to erase what Mr. Trump earned long before he was hated for wanting to “make America great again” got copious amounts of attention from the biased mainstream media. Now that the Hollywood Reporter has shown that someone has done the opposite and put Donald Trump stars all over, it remains to be seen if the same news outlets will report as much on it.
A “conservative street artist” (who did not wish to give his name) has not only plastered copies of the president’s star all over because of the fact that Donald Trump’s real star was marred by leftists, but also because of a “recent unanimous vote by the West Hollywood City Council to recommend the removal of Trump’s star” since he is accused of mistreating women. Angered by this, a brilliant response was conducted by a gathering called, “The Faction.”
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and the Los Angeles City Council has not decided on the fate of the former reality show host’s star, but many others who have been accused of such crimes (such as Bill Cosby) still have their stars for all of the world to see.
Some opinions may be that since the star may keep getting destroyed anyhow, it costs too much to keep it posted. If that is true, then perhaps the city could stop arresting car thieves since cars get stolen each day anyhow.
For that matter, how is just accusing someone enough to warrant such actions? Furthermore, isn’t the star about what was accomplished on a professional level by someone, not what someone was like on a private level? Peter Sellers was arguably one of the funniest men to have ever lived, his footprints and handprints are encased in cement, yet he was reported to have been dreadful towards his wives, as People Magazine has written, for example.
The artist seems to understand all of this fully. He said, “Rip up the president’s Walk of Fame star or try to have it removed — like you’re the mayor of West Hollywood or something — and 30 more will pop up.” They were placed over blank squares, so the faux stars did not damage any the existing accomplishments of anyone.
He and a group of other like-minded artists have started a group called “The Faction” which plans to uphold said promise. They are fans of another conservative artist named Sabo, and were said to have spent $1,000 “on the stars which they printed on sheets of floor vinyl with adhesive backing.” The money came in part from “a young and anonymous entrepreneur.”
So, while the left is out destroying art and icons that were earned by Mr. Trump, some wiser minds on the right appear to be creating art to counter these flaws.
They kept the stars covered while they worked so that onlookers would not understand what was taking place until the act was completed. “I didn’t want to get hit over the head from behind. We thought Trump Derangement Syndrome was a joke, but I’m pretty sure it’s real,” the mysterious artist admitted. “If no one peels these off, they could last there for 10 years.”
They were torn up, however. The Ripley’s Believe It Or Not museum said that they ‘had to’ because if vandals attacked these mockups, it also would cause harm to their property.
City crew, who have the job of dealing daily with vandals and their aftermath have been working to undo what the artist worked so hard to create. “We started at 5 o’clock in the morning and we’ve found about 50 stars,” said a street vendor who watched the crews working. “I was surprised, it looked pretty real.”
In all honesty, if this artist was allowed to leave even one of his creations up, the outcome is easy to predict. Still, it is quite refreshing to many people to see a California-based artist who is not brainwashed by the fake news of Mr. Donald Trump‘s detractors.
Now, if only the rest of the state would follow suit.
