The Supreme Court will decide whether the citizenship question can be added to the 2020 census.
Instead of immediately bowing to the civil liberties groups asking that courts block the administration from administering a citizenship question on the census, a federal judge has ruled there’s no immediate need to block it.
The Supreme Court smacked down the liberal judge, citing the fact that just because they don’t like something, doesn’t mean they can order an ‘inquisition.’
She said that a lower court could hear it, and deemed that the case could be appealed to the SCOTUS before a decision was needed if the decision was indeed appealed.
Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross wanted to do the right thing, then he did it. Democrats are furious.
There are still a number of details to work out, but a major sale has been announced.
