Many people agree that the election was stolen, since the Republican candidate did receive a majority of votes, but the newly implemented ‘ranked choice’ system switched it all around, and placed the democrat on top.

No longer will representatives in Maine be elected by the people in a democratic manner. The rank voting system means that democrats can basically appoint who they want, regardless of the popular vote.
