The whole time that Bill Clinton was dealing with the fact that he lied about a number of trysts with Monica Lewinsky, many Democrats said that “character does not matter” if the job is getting done and nothing outright illegal happened. However, is that true when someone runs a charity? Can such a person be trusted?
It seems not.
Prison Planet has published an article from the Libertarian Nation that shows “donations to the Clinton Foundation have dried up since Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 presidential election” as her hopes of pulling the wool over America’s eyes dried up with it. It seems that the well has run dry and that those who really care about what happens to their money, even if they are Democrats who support Clinton, have decided that character does matter as the foundation looks like a dry gulch these days.
The International Business Times (one of two outlets to properly predict the election’s outcome last year) “contacted 48 major corporations” who had donated money to the foundation which cheated Haiti in the past, and what they found was shocking.
Only 18 of those contacted bothered to respond and they admitted that “they had not made new donations” to the tempestuous group. It was revealed that a majority of the “companies that have previously donated to the Clinton Foundation didn’t contribute in the second quarter of 2017,” as well. Perhaps, once buying the ear of the White House was no longer an option, they stopped since they never really trusted the foundation to start with!
Staying on with the Clinton Foundation was “Acxiom Corporation, BTIG LLC, Google and Starkey Hearing Technologies” and some city and council donations have still trickled in. That may not be sufficient to stop the bleeding, however.
The actual papers that must be filed for the new year are not in yet, so it was in this way that IBT chose to gather the data a bit early. If they are right (and they have a great track record), this could be devastating to the Clintons.
Those that have said “so long” and not donated a cent include “Boeing, Chevron, Daimler Trucks North America, Dell, Duke Energy, General Electric, Humana, Lockheed Martin, and UPS.” Considering that General Electric is a company dealing with the fact they have poisoned all of Japan and America’s West Coast with Fukushima, they clearly don’t have money to waste on anyone who won’t cover for them.
All of this shows that the only reason that anyone really supported Clinton was that they were hoping to buy her ear. No one genuinely trusted the woman or her family at all.
That, more than anything that Trump or anyone else did, is why she lost the election.
