Record Numbers Flock To Florida Gun Show After Shooting

Florida gun show experiences unprecedented uptick after liberal gun control push.

Florida citizens buying firearms in records numbers following liberal push.

As massive crowds flock to the Florida Gun Show this past week to purchase firearms, Democrats are now threatening state pensions to erode the Second Amendment.

Organizer, Steve Fernandez said that this past weekend’s crowd at the gun show was the largest he has ever seen before, signaling patriots are fighting back against far-left efforts to restrict Americans right to bear arms.

Bay News 9 reporter Angie Angers uploaded a video to Twitter of the line outside of the gun show on Saturday, where she said at least 7,000 people were there to purchase firearms.

Angers also uploaded a photo of a large group of people inside the event, which she said hundreds signed up for firearm safety training classes.

Organizers said there was a “big spike” in attendance this year from the year prior.

The massive uptick in Americans looking to purchase firearms follows the mass shooting at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida nearly two weeks ago.

Confessed gunman, Nikolas Cruz, killed 17 innocent students at the Florida high school, which has triggered a large push from far-left groups to erode as much of the Second Amendment as possible.

Liberals push to suppress gun rights was bolstered by Sen. Bill Nelson, D-FL, who immediately exploited the tragedy to call for stricter gun control measures.

Nelson is also leading the charge on a new push to put pressure on Florida’s state pensions, which holds shares of American Outdoor Brands. The Florida pensions are connected to stocks held by groups who fund the firearm industry.

Nelson is looking to make drastic changes to the state pensions, which could have backfiring consequences and leave uncertainty in people’s financial future.

On top of that, Fernandez refuted Nelson by revealing there are already stringent measures in place to ensure individuals are vetted properly when they purchase a firearm.

He also said the massive uptick in gun owners buying weapons now comes amid fears Congress will pass overbearing legislation to appease liberal groups.

“Some of the people attending are afraid that future legislation will impact their gun ownership rights,” said Fernandez, adding that roughly 95 percent of the vendors at the  Florida Gun Show are required by law to run background checks before selling to anyone.

It’s also vital to note that Cruz passed a background check, which is why he legally purchased the semiautomatic AR-15 he used during the shooting.

No legislation would have prevented the tragic shooting at the Florida high school, but liberals won’t admit that because it goes against their political agenda.

More importantly, the American people are buying weapons in droves to ensure they will always have the right to defend themselves.

Patriots are not covering to the latest unconstitutional push from Democrats.
