Rapper Talib Kweli gave his twitter followers an incredibly ignorant history lesson on Friday. The academically challenged ‘musician’ said the Berlin Wall was created by Nazi Germany, and was proof of how “walls didn’t work for Nazis.”
“So, you’re unaware of the fact that nazi Germany had a wall called the Berlin Wall that was torn down in 1991 in order to foster humanity and diversity? Walls didn’t work for Nazis so why build them here? Build bridges not walls Nazi lover,” Talib Kweli tweeted in response to another user.
Firstly, the Nazi’s did not build the Berlin Wall. It was constructed, in a rapidly short space of time, by communist controlled, socialist East Germany, which was under the occupation of the Soviet Union.
The wall was designed to keep people from fleeing the socialist rule imposed by the hand in glove communists.
Socialism doesn’t work, that is why the system forces people to stay. For example, in England, socialize medicine rules the lives of the individuals there. They are prohibited, in many cases, from leaving the country to get healthcare somewhere else.
Comparing a border wall, designed to protect the sovereignty of a nation, to the Berlin Wall, which was intended to keep people in a country like prisoners, is not only ignorant, it demonstrates the uneducated people that are being cranked out by the government’s public school system.
Like many Americans who can read real books and who was alive when the Berlin Wall came down, I consider Kweli’s post both offensive and ridiculous.
That wall was a symbol of the Eastern Bloc, and was removed 51 years, to the day, from the night of Broken Glass (Kristallnacht).
In great part, it was brought down by the strong leadership of Ronald Reagan.
Talib Kweli’s social media posts are apparently not only fact-deficient, they are often racist and filled with hate, which is something almost all liberals resort to when they can’t win an argument using logic.
Breitbart reported, “In 2016, the “Get By” rapper attacked Breitbart News’ Jerome Hudson, repeatedly disparaging him with the racial slur ‘coon.’”
No action was taken by Twitter against the rapper for the comments, demonstrating yet again, that platform’s double standard.
It seems strange to many thinking people that anyone could even consider listening to the opinions of a person so devoid of basic intelligence. But, perhaps that public school system has done its work too well, and the people who follow him are too uneducated to recognize the idiocy?
