“Put Up Or Shut Up”: GOP Sends Message To Special Counsel As Witch Hunt Intensifies

Representative Matt Gaetz is calling on Mueller to produce some evidence.

Florida Representative Matt Gaetz is fed up with waiting to see if Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation is going to find proof. Seven months and millions of dollars later, the team is no closer to proving that President Trump colluded with Russia to rig the 2016 election. Rep. Gaetz told Fox News this week;

“It’s time for Bob Mueller to put up or shut up. If there’s evidence of collusion, let’s see it. If there’s not, let’s move on as a country and let’s institute reforms at the FBI so that an egomaniac FBI director like James Comey cannot depart from the normal standard procedures that guarantees all Americans equal treatment under the law.”

Mueller began his witch hunt in May. While his team has certainly turned up evidence of wrongdoing, none of it leads back to President Trump. The look at the so-called Russian collusion has actually been ongoing since July 2016. Common sense says that if there was evidence, they would have discovered it by now.

Instead, the longer it drags on, the more liberals they are finding to be guilty. Multiple FBI agents involved in the “unbiased” investigation have been demoted or removed from their positions due to obvious bias.

Peter Strzok is the focus right now. Not only had he been in the investigation since the beginning, he was involved with the Hillary Clinton email probe as well. There is a pile of proof that he is completely biased against President Trump and some of that could implicate FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe as well.

In an August 15, 2016, text message, Strzok wrote;

“I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy’s office — that there’s no way [Trump] gets elected — but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk.  It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40.”

Gaetz and other Republicans have called the message “totally unacceptable,” along with hundreds of others between Strozk and his then-girlfriend Lisa Page. They are alleging that McCabe, Strzok, and other FBI officials “hatched a scheme to deprive Donald Trump of the presidency both before and after his election.”

Several House and Senate committees are pursuing the exposed scandals by Democrats and FBI agents involved in this case.

They are absolutely correct, it is time for Mueller’s team to produce some sort of proof that this investigation should be allowed to continue. Otherwise, it is time for America to move on.
