Pro-Life Group Exposes Planned Parenthood Cover Up In New Report

They went into detail about Planned Parenthood’s failure to notify the authorities about instances of child abuse.

The pro-life group Live Action recently released a report revealing that numerous Planned Parenthood abortion clinics have been failing to protect young girls and notify authorities of child abuse (pictured above).

Just recently, Live Action, a pro-life group that has been actively investigating misconduct within Planned Parenthood, published an extremely thorough report, titled “Aiding Abusers: Planned Parenthood’s Cover-Up of Child Sexual Abuse,” detailing their findings.

Disturbingly, in the report, which was written by Carole Novielli, it was revealed that numerous death clinics across the country have been busted for basically covering up child sex abuse by performing abortions on “sexual abuse victims as young as 12 and 13 years old without notifying authorities of the abuse.” What’s worse, after performing the abortions, the clinics would then apparently send the poor girls back to their abusers.

Specifically, the newly released report highlighted multiple “court cases, state health department reports, testimonies from former Planned Parenthood employees, interviews with sex trafficking survivors published by Loyola University, and two of Live Action’s previous undercover investigations” to show “a deliberate pattern of child sexual abuse and human trafficking cover-up at Planned Parenthood.”

The various examples were all pulled from “Aiding Abusers,” which is a seven-part docu-series made by Live Action that exposes the “systemic, decades-long cover-up of child sexual abuse at Planned Parenthood.”

Before going into detail about their misconduct, though, Novielli first criticized the various women’s movements for largely ignoring the death clinic’s misconduct by pointing out that in parts one and two of their docuseries, it was shown that although children as young as 12-years-old continue to be the victims of repeated sexual abuse by adult predators, Planned Parenthood “has yet to be called out for its scandalous cover-ups of sexual abuse” by the public.

“Through the TimesUP and MeToo movements, America is calling for an end to sexual abuse in every institution…But few are calling out one of America’s biggest accomplices to sexual abuse even though there is widespread documentation of systemic sexual abuse cover-up behind its doors. The group is called Planned Parenthood, and they are tax-funded,” explained Lila Rose, the founder of Live Action, in one of the videos referenced by the author of the report.

Novielli then went on to discuss part three of the docuseries, which focused on testimonies from former employees of the abortion clinic.

Sue Thayer, a former manager of a Planned Parenthood facility, claim[ed] that the organization discouraged mandatory reporting of child sexual abuse,” stated Novielli, referring to one of the women in the video.

“In the era of #MeToo and #TimesUP, why has this organization, funded with half a billion tax dollars annually, been immune from the fallout of complicity in covering sexual abuse?” she continued, clearly baffled.

In addition to Thayer, Novielli pointed out that the video also featured Catherine Adair, a former Planned Parenthood staffer, who recounted “how girls would come into her facility with their abusers, but she testified that the abortion facility staff’s attitude was that the girl ‘was better off with the abortion’ rather than reporting the abuse.”

On top of that, Novielli mentioned that Monica Cline, an HIV health educator and Title X training manager, testified against Planned Parenthood as well.

According to Cline, the death clinic had a “distorted and dehumanizing” view of children that stemmed from a false ideology about young being similar to “animals that cannot control themselves” when it comes to sexual intercourse. Because of this, they purportedly had a “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy with regards to sexual abuse, meaning that as long as they didn’t as the age of the girl’s sexual partner, they wouldn’t have to tell.

After detailing the accounts of several former employees of Planned Parenthood, Novielli then brought up parts four, five, and six of the report, which focused on the myriad of ways the death clinics have failed to deal with statutory rape, sex-trafficking, and the retraining of staff members.

Toward the end of the report, Novielli noted that in the final video of the series, they interviewed an attorney who brought charges against the Catholic Church for covering up their own problem of sexual abuse about two cases that he’s recently filed against Planned Parenthood for their role in allegedly covering up the rape of young girls by failing to report the abuse as required by under the Title X.

Specifically, while organizations that participate in the Title X program, which is a government initiative that provides health clinics with roughly $260 million in federal funding every year for family planning strategies, are allowed to provide minors confidential services, that does not mean they are “exempt from state notification and reporting laws on child abuse, child molestation, sexual abuse, rape, or incest.”

As a consequence for failing to do what Title X requires, Novielli called on the government to punish Planned Parenthood by taking away their federal funding, which they shouldn’t even have in the first place.

“Planned Parenthood’s ongoing history in failing to report suspected child abuse should, at the very least, result in the organization losing millions of taxpayer dollars under the federal Title X Family Planning Program,” she reasoned, adding, “[people should] call upon Congress to investigate and defund this corrupt organization and demand that the media hold Planned Parenthood to account.”

Thankfully, though, President Donald Trump and other state governments appear to already be taking steps toward removing federal funding from Planned Parenthood and any other women’s health center that promotes, supports, or performs the killing of unborn babies.

Just recently, for instance, President Trump announced that his administration will be reintroducing a regulation that explicitly cuts off federal family planning money to any group involved in the slaughter of helpless fetuses. On top of that, a similar bill, known as State House Bill 2262, was also recently passed by Tennessee’s health sub-committee.

Despite this, however, opponents of abortion should still be actively speaking out against the barbaric practice because the fight to end the mass slaughter of the unborn is far from over. Even with abortion clinics losing their federal funding, there will still be countless children slaughtered by their mothers while they’re still in the womb as long as the procedure is still legal.

Without a doubt, failing to properly notify the authorities of child abuse, sexual or otherwise, is absolutely reprehensible. Hopefully, in addition to losing their federal funding, those at Planned Parenthood who didn’t to report the abuse will ultimately be held accountable for failing to protect countless vulnerable children.
