In a stunning and shamefully evil attack against Christians, the state of California with it’s governor’s approval, has forbidden worshipers from singing in church.
Yes, you read that right.
Praise to Almighty God has just been outlawed in California, at a time when the nation needs the Grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ more than ever.
In fact, COVID-19 is an attack against the Holy Spirit. Look at the evidence:
“Social distancing” is the opposite of what the Bible repeatedly supports… human touch. The ‘laying on of hands’ is crucial for both healing and the transference of the Holy Spirit, and the first thing COVID ‘protections’ forbade was human touch. I’ve seen lives changed by a hug… you probably have too. This action is fundamental to God’s work on earth, but in one fell swoop, evil was allowed to eliminate it.
Now, Christians in California are being told they can’t sing praises to God! Music is another very, very important part of worship and, many experts agree, brings together believers in unity with God, as well as welcoming the Holy Spirit.
Check out what the Sacramento Bee reported:
Californians are still free to attend their house of worship. But they’re forbidden from singing or chanting.
Updated COVID-19 guidelines issued Wednesday by the state Department of Public Health require churches and other houses of worship to “discontinue singing and chanting activities.”
In previously allowing religious organizations to reopen in late May, the state merely said these institutions should “strongly consider discontinuing singing, group recitation, and other practices and performances.”
Health agencies such as the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say shouting or singing can spread the coronavirus just as easily as coughing or sneezing.
California’s health department agrees, and as Gov. Gavin Newsom begins tightening protocols during a resurgence of the pandemic, it now says singing and chanting are outright banned.
“Activities such as singing and chanting negate the risk reduction achieved through six feet of physical distancing,” the state said in its new guidelines.
Houses of worship are now being told to have masks available for congregants who don’t bring one.
The new guidelines were released the same day Newsom issued his most dramatic reversal yet on reopening the economy, calling on Sacramento and 18 other counties to halt indoor restaurant dining and close movie theaters, card rooms, indoor museums and other venues. Sacramento County’s closures took effect Thursday at 3 p.m.
Unlike the restaurant closures, Newsom said little about the new guidelines on houses of worship, mentioning them only in passing during a press conference Thursday.
It remains to be seen if, or how, the state or counties are expected to enforce the ban on singing in houses of worship.
The move comes as democrats are determined to hype a ‘second wave’ shut down, even though medicines (like hydroxychloroquine) have significantly lowered the fatality rate of COVID, and Oxford experts say that “most” people won’t even need a vaccine!
Oxford University professor Sunetra Gupta, an epidemiologist, has been tagged ‘Professor Reopen’ for her argument against lockdowns as a countermeasure against the Covid-19 pandemic. In a conversation with Hindustan Times, professor Gupta explained why most people won’t need a Covid-19 vaccine and how lockdowns are not a long-term solution to contain the spread of coronavirus.
“What we’ve seen is that in normal, healthy people, who are not elderly or frail or don’t have comorbidities, this virus is not something to worry about no more than how we worry about flu,” professor Gupta told HT.
So, why has Newsom ordered this change against ONLY church services?
The answer is patently obvious.
What we are fighting here is NOT politics… it is an ancient war seeking to “kill, steal, and destroy.”
Our nation was founded by Godly men who had faults, like we all do, but who knew that righteousness was crucial to the success and prosperity of all.
Now, more than ever, Christians MUST sing praise to God. We must boldly speak the NAME OF JESUS, because there is no power on earth that can overcome the power of His Name.
