Planned Parenthood Ready To “Slay” Unborn Children In Shocking New Promotional Video

There’s currently a war being waged against the unborn. Many liberals still don’t understand what’s wrong with abortion and continue to support organizations that murders babies still in the womb. Undoubtedly, the group that has engaged in the most feticide is Planned Parenthood.

Just recently, Planned Parenthood partnered with a well-known abortion advocate and opponent of Trump to create a video about the baby killing organization. Apparently, they thought it would be a good idea to promote the video by encouraging supporters to “slay.” Well, at least they’re being honest. Now we just have to get them to stop.

Earlier this week, Planned Parent released a video produced by Joss Whedon, the creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. On their website, they attempted to relate their new promotional ad to Whedon’s work. “If there’s anything we’ve learned from Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, The Avengers) over the years, it’s this — every single one of us has a hero inside; and it’s our responsibility to use our superpowers to slay,” states a page on their site.

Now that Trump is in charge, it appears like they need all the help they can get. According to their website, “Planned Parenthood and the 2.5 million people our health centers serve every year could sure use a lot more superheroes right now.” They think this is why Whedon made the video. “So, Joss Whedon used his superpower: he made a powerful and chilling short film, UNLOCKED, about what people’s lives could look like without Planned Parenthood,” their website explains. “Take a few minutes to watch it, add your name to join Joss Whedon in standing with Planned Parenthood, and then share, share, share, using #IStandWithPP, encourages the website, which noted, “that’s how we slay, that’s how we win.”

Clearly, they’re attempting to reference Whedon’s “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” But I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. On one hand, it’s hard to miss the hilarity. Their choice of words was so absurdly careless that, at first, it seems like some sort of dark joke.

On the other hand, using a word like “slay” to promote a procedure that many people consider to be an act of “slaying” is absolutely disgusting and fills me with sadness. As our understanding of developing fetuses continues to improve, it becomes increasingly difficult to justify abortions. Regardless of what others say, science has shown that life starts at the moment of conception. From that point on, a person is waiting to be born. Ending their life is equivalent to killing a full-grown adult; age shouldn’t make a difference.

Despite what numerous experts say, liberals still attempt to justify the barbaric practice. Unsurprisingly, most of the reasons they present are morally reprehensible. For example, some argue that if a person doesn’t like the biological sex of their child, then it’s okay to end their life. However, killing someone simply because of their sex is immoral.

Others argue that people should be allowed to kill babies if they’re mentally or physically disabled. But much like with biological sex, it’s immoral to kill someone simply because they’re mentally or physically different.

Another popular justification for murdering the most helpless in our society has to do with women being raped. Although rape is undeniably one of the worst things that could happen to someone, it doesn’t justify punishing the innocent, unborn child. The only reasonable justification for abortion is to save the life of the mother because then, the death is essentially the result of self-defense.

It’s hard to believe that someone actually signed off on the word “slay.” Out of respect for others, if they’re not going to stop providing abortions, then they should at least revise their web page. They also need to be more careful with the words they choose moving forward.

In response to the massive amount of criticism the video received, Whedon, who released a statement bashing pro-life advocates, calling them “inhuman” and “evil.” Specifically, he said, “for so many, there’s an obvious tipping point between hope and despair. Planned Parenthood is a beacon of hope, and anyone trying to shut it down is committing an act of evil.” He added, “it’s not just inhumane — it’s inhuman,” and concluded, “I just wanted to remind those of us with some humanity still stirring how much is at stake.”

Conservatives must not allow the barbaric tradition of abortion to continue. To start, Republicans should push to defund them. As long as organizations like Planned Parenthood continue to murder babies, taxpayers shouldn’t be forced to support them.
