With many across the country vying political campaigns to fight back against the swampy establishment, there’s a massive grassroots movement forming to get conservative Hollywood actor James Woods to run for office.
The petition was picked up by The Washington Times, where a lengthy report was published detailing Woods strong conservative principles, his large following, and how he would support many of President Donald Trump’s bold policies.
“An effort to shake up the California governor’s race by placing James Woods on the ballot is gathering steam. The online signature-gathering effort intends to assist fed-up Californians in taking a stand against one-party rule and the increasing likelihood that two Democrats will appear on November’s gubernatorial ballot amid a Republican shutout,” Morgan said, which was included in the Times report.
The Times reported:
Mr. Woods, who staunchly supports President Trump, might prove a formidable foe. He has over 1 million Twitter followers, and his opinions are well-calibrated, timely, frequent and provocative.
Amid the petition launch, Woods called for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) to be phased out.
Many in the liberal state of California would support Woods, as he has been a fierce critic on Twitter of Democrats ranging from former Vice President Joe Biden to failed Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
In the tweet below, he is calling out Biden for creepily touching a little boy’s face.

Hillary Clinton has got to be the most monumental "sore loser" in all of modern political history. https://t.co/ndkjFhhEx8

The notion of Woods running for governor of California has quickly gone from an idea to a full-blown petition supported by tens of thousands of people.
Many would love to see the staunch Trump supporter and conservative running things in the leftist state of California.
