Pelosi Trapped

Pelosi Backpedals, Claims She ‘Didn’t Know’ About Virginia Gov.

Nancy Pelosi denied knowing about Governor Norton’s support of a post-abortion bill and the reason why is clear.

Pelosi claimed she didn't know about the brouhaha in Virginia over the Governor's support of post-birth abortion.

In a meeting with the press yesterday, Nancy Pelosi had a number of incoherent moments, slurring and blanking out. And in one of those trapped moments, also claimed that she didn’t know about Virginia Governor Ralph Northam’s stance on a post-birth abortion bill.

Now, unless Speaker Pelosi has had ‘her ears and eyes taped shut’ since Tuesday, she would have heard about the Virginia bill designed to allow abortions up to the moment of birth, and even after.

Many people argue her convenient ignorance was expected, given Americans’ view on such a measure.

Democrats are becoming more and more radical in their approach to ‘women’s choice.’ And, in the wake of the backlash over the Virginia measure, Pelosi made the snap decision to apparently lie.

Gov. Northam, previously a physician, endorsed a bill in the Virginia Legislature introduced by Del. Kathy Tran that would effectively allow late-term abortions for any reason, even once the mother is in labor.

“Despite retroactive attempts at clarification from both Gov. Northam and Del. Tran, both lawmakers are on video arguing for that very thing.

Democrats passed a similar bill in New York, and are quickly aligning with the most radical stance on abortion.

As Pelosi more than likely knows, a 2019 Knight of Columbus/Marist poll found that such a stance is opposite of what voters want.

“Three in four Americans (75 percent) say abortion should be limited to – at most – the first three months of pregnancy. This includes most of those who identify as Republicans (92 percent), independents (78 percent) and Democrats (60 percent).

“It also includes more than six in 10 (61 percent) who identify as pro-choice…By a double-digit margin, a majority of all Americans oppose any taxpayer funding of abortion (54 percent to 39 percent),” the poll found.

Perhaps Pelosi had 2020 in mind when she denied any knowledge of the news that has captivated readers this week?

Of course, voters now know that the reason such bills are gaining traction is because of the cash involved.

“It’s really clear that Virginians want and need a fierce champion like Dr. Northam to stand up for them and to stand up for women’s health,” Jennifer Allen, chief executive of Planned Parenthood Virginia PAC and Planned Parenthood Advocates of Virginia, announcing abortionists would spend up to $3 million to elect Northam, The Washington Post reported at the time.

Planned Parenthood did deliver $1.99 million into Northam’s campaign, according to The Virginia Public Access Project, after praising him for taking “bold actions.”

As long as Planned Parenthood continues to spend millions of dollars lobbying for their butcher factory, the issue will continue to be pushed, and double-speak politicians like Pelosi will continue to try to claim deniability as they blithely collect the cash.
