A fireman is in a coma after French police shot him in the back of the head, ‘like a rabbit.’ In fact, the increased brutality of authorities trying to reign in the yellow vest protests is getting worse.
Olivier Beziade, a father-of-three in his 30s, attended the protests on Saturday night in Bordeaux. But, the video and testimony of witnesses clearly indicate that he was not violent or destructive, and trigger happy authorities saw an easy prey in the fireman.
His family reported he suffered a ‘very serious brain injury’ after being shot in the back of the head.
Beziade’s wife Cindy said, “I’m furious. This is unacceptable. I won’t let it go. The pictures speak for themselves.”
She was with her husband at the time, and stated “The demonstration was calm until about 4.30pm. I was with my husband in Rue Sainte-Catherine.
“Then there was a bit of panic. We turned back to avoid teargas fumes and to go home. I turned first right, he took the first turning on the left.”
It was then that a plainclothes officer appeared around a corner, and shot a flash ball at Beziade. Police are instructed to shoot well below the head, but there have been numerous incidents of them failing to follow those orders.
Simultaneously as the shot was fired, a uniformed officer can be seen throwing a stun grenade at Beziade too.
The victim’s wife added, “They shot at us like rabbits.”
The local police prefect has ordered a full investigation, claiming that a gang of Yellow Vests was “trying to get into an Apple store nearby,” but many people argue, so what? Beziade himself wasn’t.
A police commander in Toulon, on France’s Mediterranean coast, is also under investigation for repeatedly beating up Yellow Vest protestors during a demonstration.
Also on Saturday, CRS riot police were seen brandishing live ammunition semi-automatic weapons in front of Yellow Vest demonstrators in Paris. And, the brutality and physical violence has been ratcheted up to an alarming level.
Another ‘Day 10’ of demonstrations is planned for this Saturday. French president Emmanuel Macron is powerless in the face of this ‘revolution.’
The people of France will only take so much abuse, for so long, as history has shown. And, like the previous bloody revolution, this one was spurred by systematic exploitation of the people.
Yellow vest protesters have also blasted a sweeping ‘letter to the French’ from Macron, saying it doesn’t come anywhere near quelling national anger at his globalist policies.
Protester Jerome Rodrigues told reporters that Macron’s meager attempt failed to recognize “the urgency” of low-income workers and retirees’ concerns.
Although Macron is conceding to the movement by asking the people to express their views on which taxes should be lowered, what solutions there are for reducing the price of travel, heating and food, and whether mandatory voting and reducing the number of lawmakers should be considered,” the fact remains that his sop is working.
Macron also mentioned the possibility of introducing annual immigration quotas, but refused to consider any decrease in any ‘asylum seekers.’
The following video shows how the shot took place at the about the six minute mark, and it includes violent recordings of police beating an elderly man, a bystander, and pretty much anyone they see.
