The term “fake news” gets used so much now that many hearing it simply disregard it. For instance, it began with the mainstream media -which are fake – calling the smaller outlets “fake.” From there, the smaller outlets began to present their facts showing that they were far more truthful and the “fake news” moniker was better suited for the accusers at the MSM. Going beyond even that, a growing number of those smaller and far more honest news outlets began joining forces with people who have quit the big news powerhouses and worked to expose just how fake the MSM really is. That has taken us to where we are today, finding James O’ Keefe of the liberty minded Veritas Report releasing about 119 hours of footage showing how fake CNN is.
Having offered a staggering $10,000 reward for anyone who exposes and proves what O’ Keefe called, “Media Malfeasance,” everyone knew that something was going to be brought to light. It should be noted that even before the leak happened, no one at all was saying that CNN was believed honest enough by anyone that O’ Keefe would not succeed in this attempt because it is common knowledge that they ARE fake. All that was needed was undeniable proof, and for ten thousand greenbacks, someone was going to make it happen.
That someone has, and what is shown to the world is pretty much what everyone already knew to be true about one of the most dishonest news organizations in history, but it is still quite shocking to see so vividly. To start with, of the 119 hours of footage, only 19 hours have come out. It remains to be seen if the fattest truth nuggets are still be mined, but we what we do know already is that we have known polling fraud. We also know that CNN crew members Joe Sterling, Arthur Brice, and Nicky Robertson are on the tapes.
Among other more damning things sure to follow, we know that the CNN Deputy Political Director Paul Steinhauser was telling reporters and those charged with properly gathering the news to NOT use updated polling data in reports. Rather, they were to use the more outdated and friendly to Clinton polls, according to the leaks (of which some block texts are at the end of this article).
The practice was thought to be so bad and widely viewed as corrupt even in house that Arthur Brice said, “Yeah, he’s your director. Yeah, he’s pretty high up in the food chain. I agree. I think it’s dishonest to use outdated information if new information shows something that is in variance with what you’re reporting. It’s just, it’s dishonest.” In what must be the most ironic twist to a news story in years, CNN’s Jim Accosta as recently as Trump’s last press conference corrected the president when he said that CNN was “fake news” by correcting the president and saying, “Real news, Mr. President, real news.”
Someone will certainly ask Accosta about how CNN can be real news if they are purposefully using skewed and outdated data to help a leftist candidate (or ANY candidate in the future, in this case, it was the leftist Clinton) get into the White House. Those like Mark Dice, Infowars, and even the Conservative Daily Post have long been champions of real, fact based news with commentary that often seems to run counter to the leftist narrative. Still, facts are facts, and the light being shed by O’ Keefe here is showing that those who have trusted the smaller news outlets (or at least used them to fact-check the MSM) have been right in doing so.
Proving that this was not just an error or an editorial decision that showed some preference to a certain polling agency by mistake, it happened again at CNN during the polling for numbers concerning Supreme Court Justice Sotomayor. Just behold this exchange;
Miss X: “This wasn’t released until two weeks after. So can we say a newly released poll?”
Joe Sterling: “No, you can’t say that. You can’t say that at all. This isn’t a newly released.”
Miss X: “But it says newly released on Friday.”
Joe Sterling: “I know, how did we write about this? Did we write a wire about this? “I don’t think we stand to change how people think of her [Sotomayor]. Geez, I mean if someone picked this up it’s not going to change – it’s not going to change anybody’s opinion.“
We can see here that Joe Sterling is making assumptions about standing to change minds, not reporting the news. Article writers, bloggers, and political/social commentators work to change minds, not news agencies. This whole concept seems to be alien and totally foreign to Sterling, and it can be assumed, to most of those at CNN.
The most nauseating portion of this leak (thus far with 100 hours more incoming, so keep the Dramamine close by) is to be found in the words of CNN’s Vice President and Senior Editorial Director, Richard Griffiths. This paragon of honesty said that the job of a journalist is to “aid the afflicted and afflict the comfortable.” His whole statement (also posted below) seems to a show someone driven by some half thought-out idea of the greater good being done when journalists mold how the people are to think, not just report the news.
Now clearly, this article being read would not exist if everyone was to report “just the facts” and not add logical conclusions to a report. However, the base news -of which this article is not – is to be pure and free of such inserts. CNN is supposed to BE that root news to which others draw conclusions based on raw data. Such conclusions are instead coming from CNN deluded, convoluted, watered down, and skewed to the left with known fake and outdated data being fed to the world. THAT is the now proven, solid truth.
To add insult to injury, CNN seems to have missed the massive amounts of data that prove that Creationism, if not solid scientific fact, is at least on par with evolution to the point where they both can be taught and looked at, something that CNN would do if fair. Instead, while also refusing to be fair about the new scientific data proving that man is NOT changing the climate, this is what Nikki Robertson said; “That issue, climate change, I mean science is pretty much on board and there are a few dissenters. There’s no debate. It’s like you know, born-agains saying there’s a debate over, you know creationism, and all that stuff. There is no debate.”
So there it is, America. There is CNN, a “real” news agency that purposefully puts out polling data known to be wrong to help a candidate and frame a United States Supreme Court Justice. We have a newsgroup that wants to tell people how and what to think, in their own words on camera now, and who use journalists to make it happen. This honest group of reporters and talking heads reject the reporting of Creationism science even as the facts found in things like the “2 Slits Experiment” (explained in the video below) become known. They also push global warming nonsense on the masses while admitting to not even covering the facts disproving it on the other side.
Now that the facts are here, or at least 19 out of 119 hours of the facts, it is the duty of everyone who cares about the nation and the art and science of fair reporting to take note of these awful truths. They are hard to hear, for it is never easy to understand that the world presented was a lie. Still, to not do so is a terrible waste of brain power, factual progress, and $10, 000 in well-spent cash.
Good job, James O’ Keefe. May God keep you safe.
(block quote about the CNN leak)
Miss X: “I read a CNN poll that was taken on June 26 and 28th, and I know that the hearing for the case, the fire fighters case was on the 29th, so the poll was done right before it, and those are still the poll results we’re reporting, so I asked someone in DC who does the poll results about why we hadn’t updated it, and said there were a few newer polls from last week and the week before and there’s CBS news polls and a Rasmussen poll, and he said we don’t use Rasmussen, and I said does CNN plan to do another poll if we’re only using that. He said we’re not going to be doing another poll, those are the results we’ll be using. So I don’t see how that’s reporting all sides because that poll said hold for release until Friday the 10th.”
Arthur Brice: “Who did you talk with?”
Miss X: “Paul [CNN’s Deputy Political Director Paul Steinhauser].”
Arthur Brice: “Yeah, he’s your director. Yeah, he’s pretty high up in the food chain. I agree. I think it’s dishonest to use outdated information if new information shows something that is in variance with what you’re reporting. It’s just, it’s dishonest.”
“If we are journalists, what is our role as a journalist? What is the fundamental role as a journalist, for us to do? “Tell a story. Tell what’s going on. There’s a secondary corollary to that, right? Aid the afflicted and afflict the comfortable. To a degree, right? Is that not part of the traditional role of a journalist. It’s actually one of the things I can be most proud of as a journalist. You know we try to show the ugly side of humanity so we can do something about it. It’s hard, very hard.”
