The Democrats’ witch hunt against President Trump could suffer a massive blowback. It is looking like Barack Obama and his administration could be the ones investigated for obstruction of justice.
Liberals exposed themselves to a legal probe after former FBI Director James Comey revealed that former Attorney General Loretta Lynch asked him to manipulate Hillary Clinton’s email investigation.
According to Breitbart, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley sent a letter to the top Democrat on the Judiciary Committee, Sen. Dianne Feinstein. He formally requested that the committee investigates any intention to influence the FBI’s probe under both the Trump and Obama administration.
A spokesman for Grassley explained to The Hill that while no decisions have been made on this issue, it is possible that the committee will need Lynch’s testimony at some point.
Possibly without meaning to, Comey veered off the topic of President Trump and the Russians. He instead spoke about how Lynch politically interfered in the FBI investigation. Given this situation, the Senate Judiciary Committee will hold hearings to determine if Lynch obstructed justice. That would reflect badly on Obama himself and could result in charges for him as well.
Experts believe that Lynch’s actions could have been orchestrated by the former president or his team. It would be unlikely for an attorney general to make this kind of move without the White House approval. Especially when the third person involved is someone who’s running for president.
This whole saga could lead to a separate criminal investigation and even the naming of another special counsel. Analysts believe this situation could be extremely beneficial to President Trump. It would divert the attention from his legal issues and it would undermine the Democrat’s credibility.
The issues between Lynch and Comey started when she ordered him to mislead the public about Clinton’s investigation by calling it a “matter.” While the former FBI Director said he felt “queasy” with this request, he complied and used this term to label the issue.
Comey also revealed that Lynch refused to recuse herself from this case after he confronted her about the June 2016 meeting she had with former President Bill Clinton. This occurred less than a week before Hillary was scheduled to be interviewed by the bureau.
Apparently, Comey confronted her with a very delicate piece of evidence. One source revealed that former FBI director said that Lynch looked at the document and then looked up in silence for some seconds. Then, she asked him if he had any other business with her and if not that he must leave her office.
Soon after Bill Clinton’s meeting with Lynch, the Obama White House postured to explain it through press secretary John Earrnest. While he felt the need to reiterate the President’s stated commitment to avoiding any kind of interference in Justice Department investigations, many believe this was the only opportunity where Obama could have indirectly showed his involvement.
The reason is that Earnests’ press conference focused too much on this issue. Far from sticking to the “no interference” narrative, he tried to glorify Obama’s position on the incident. This is a strategy that many leaders use to erase their involvement from a sensitive event.
Comey also testified before the Senate that he considered calling for the appointment of a special counsel to take the case. He believed that the former attorney general had a concerning conflict of interest in the Hillary Clinton case.
While this would be the proper move, Comey actually shut down the probe and let Hillary off the hook just three weeks before her presidential nomination. According to The New York Times, the former attorney general privately reassured the Clinton campaign that she would control the FBI investigation against Hillary by keeping the agents in check.
As a matter of fact, she even said that she wouldn’t let the investigation “go too far” according to a message that the Bureau intercepted. That message was to Debbie Wasserman, the former Democratic National Committee Chairwoman. As more facts emerge, it is clear that this involves many high-level Democrats.
Media outlets reported that congressional sources are convinced that Lynch will be called to answer Comey’s allegations under oath. Also on the potential witness list are Wasserman and Amanda Renteria, who was the senior Clinton campaign staffer.
Experts believe that the former attorney general will be asked about the conversation with Bill Clinton, the reasons why she didn’t recuse herself, and especially if she really promised a whitewash to the Hillary Clinton campaign. Also, many suggest that Lynch could be asked if she followed any order from Obama or the White House.
WikiLeaks revealed that the Democratic Party deliberately sabotaged Bernie Sanders in order to get Hilary Clinton elected as their presidential candidate. Even the liberal mainstream media was part of this well-planned action, which opens the possibility that Lynch’s interference represented another piece of the puzzle.
Considering these facts, it’s really difficult to believe that Obama didn’t play a role in this operation. Especially when everyone knows how powerful his influence and leadership within the Democratic Party was, and possibly still is.

It will be impossible for the Democrats to dismiss the inquiry as partisan, not after Sen. Feinstein said that Lynch’s actions are a legitimate avenue of inquiry. Naturally, these assertions give the GOP the much needed political cover to pursue Comey’s leads and refer evidence for the criminal prosecution to the DOJ.
Many believed that Comey’s testimony and the appearance of Mueller were bad news for Trump’s administration. Republicans now actually have a golden chance to legally exploit and reveal the Clinton-Obama corruption.
Loretta Lynch is becoming the first piece to fall in a domino effect that could end in the prosecution of the Obama administration.
