Is he really this stupid… or does he just think the American people are too dumb to see?
Obama’s CIA chief, John Brennan, repeatedly claimed that President Trump was guilty of Russian collusion, and now that the president has been vindicated by Robert Mueller and the entire big-fat-lie exposed, Brennan is blaming others for his inflammatory rhetoric.
Brennan continuously spread the false accusation, and even called the president’s supposed actions “treasonous!”
Coming from a former CIA chief, such accusations are not only foolhardy, they should be grounds for a libel suit.
But, Brennan is trying to cover his tracks.
Yesterday, on NBC’s Morning Joe, Brennan said, “Well, I don’t know if I received bad information but I think I suspected there was more than there actually was.”
“I am relieved that it’s been determined there was not a criminal conspiracy with the Russian government over our election,” he added.
That right there is as big a whopper as any he has claimed over the past 20 months.
He was busted lying to Congress.
Brennan has claimed that it WAS a criminal conspiracy on every talk show and social media outlet available.
“We need an actual leader — our Nation’s future is at stake,” he tweeted Dec. 31.
Brennan added yesterday, “I still point to things that were done publicly, or efforts to try to have conversation with the Russians that were inappropriate, but I’m not all that surprised that the high bar of criminal conspiracy was not met.”
But, that’s a complete opposite than what he said in August. The Wall Street Journal reported:
After a presidential press conference in Helsinki with Vladimir Putin in which Mr. Trump refused to acknowledge Russian meddling in the 2016 election, Mr. Brennan tweeted that the president’s behavior was “nothing short of treasonous.” Not “wrong,” not “outrageous,” but “treasonous.”
It wouldn’t be the last time he invoked the “t” word.
Mr. Brennan also used it after the president pulled his security clearance last August. During a subsequent appearance on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” host Chuck Todd suggested that a former intelligence chief might wish to be a little more circumspect with his accusations.
“You are the former CIA director accusing the sitting president of the United States,” said Mr. Todd. “It’s not a private citizen. A lot of people hear the former CIA director accusing the sitting president of the United States of treason—that’s monumental, that’s a monumental accusation.”
Mr. Brennan said he regretted nothing, and cited for his judgment his training as an “intelligence professional.”
Moreover, just two weeks ago, Brennan predicted more Mueller indictments.
Well, his “judgement” was horribly wrong.
Brennan questioned part of Barr’s conclusions in the letter delivered to Congress on Sunday, “I am surprised that that second part of obstruction of justice in terms of how it came out. I don’t know whether or not Bob Mueller wanted the attorney general to pronounce on that issue or whether or not Bob Mueller felt that it would be best for Congress and the American people to determine whether the weight of the information indicates that Donald Trump did try to obstruct justice.”
“There are some surprises there,” Brennan added. “I think that’s why getting to the full Mueller report is the best way to get some of these if not all of these questions answered.”
Some people have suggested that this comment, as well as James Comey’s recent weird ‘trees’ and ‘rocks’ tweets are simply spy code demanding a meeting that will ‘answer questions.’
The fact remains, Brennan is a liar.
He is a former card-carrying communist who was placed in one of the highest positions of power by Barack Obama, and should be made to answer for his accusations, libel and disgusting promotion of what most people knew was a fabricated cover-up of the real Russian collusion that took place under his watch.
