With several investigations into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s corruption already yielding results, a new bombshell report reveals that a top Clinton ally was interviewed last year surrounding the discredited dossier.
According to Fox News contributor Sara Carter, Sidney Blumenthal was interviewed by the FBI in 2016 by the FBI for his connection to the dossier, which was used by the FBI to obtain a warrant under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act to spy on President Donald Trump and his former campaign members last year.
Fusion GPS hired Christopher Steele, a former British spy, to compile the dossier which made numerous unverified claims suggesting that Trump colluded with the Russians to win the election.
Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee paid nearly $9 million for the dossier, which was full of salacious claims that the FBI has admitted it cannot verify.
Blumenthal is being investigated for promoting the discredited dossier throughout the ranks of Obama’s FBI and DOJ to spark the investigation into Trump, and investigators want to know if Clinton advised him to do so.
The FBI interviewing Blumenthal means that the investigation is now one degree of separation from Clinton, who likely worked with Obama to use this dossier to spy on Trump and his team as well as to launch the phony Russia investigation.
During an interview Thursday on Fox News, Republican Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz – joined by Carter and Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan – called this explosive new report “arguably the biggest scandal in modern political history.”
Gaetz predicted that if the records of the FISA memo, which would reveal if the dossier was used to obtain a warrant by Obama officials to spy on Trump, were made available to the public, several top officials at the FBI and DOJ would be fired and charged criminally for abuse of power.
We are finally seeing Deep State actors and Obama allies held accountable for their corrupt actions, and it appears the investigation is now closer to Clinton than ever before.
