Harry Reid literally conspiring with Barack Obama
By now you’ve probably heard the expression, “You can’t stump the Trump.” Even if you haven’t, if you’ve followed Donald Trump’s amazing race to presidential victory, you’ve seen it played out dozens of times.
Whether it’s a lack of funding, a career-ending scandal, the media’s endless spin, or whatever is supposedly “the end of Trump,” turns out never to be, well, the end of Trump. Seeing the Left and the MSM chase their tails about Trump’s latest snub at the media, hardline cabinet pick, shocking tweet, etc. is endlessly amusing.
Although the latest tail-chasing episode has to do with Trump’s tweet this morning about punishments for burning the American flag, let’s focus on a tail-chasing episode from just a couple days earlier.
(See what I mean? Trump is like the Willy Wonka of playing the media: just when you think you’ve seen it all, he pulls out another marvelous treat!)
First, some background:
Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennyslvania had voted blue since at least 1988, but Trump flipped all three on election night like Willy Wonka creating a miraculous new candy.
The press refused to call Michigan for Trump until yesterday, however, and then Jill Stein announced she was going to petition for a recount in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. Democrats and Trump haters have been grumbling for weeks that Hillary won the popular vote.
Even if that’s true (and we will look into that in a moment), it’s irrelevant. Everyone knew that the only way to win was to get at least 270 electoral votes. Trump played to win, while Hillary played not to lose.
Now, despite the fact that every single article and interview about the recount admitted there was NO EVIDENCE of voter fraud, Stein still managed to raise more for the recount in a few days than she raised for her entire campaign all year!
Meanwhile, Trump was keeping a deafening silence about the whole thing until early this week he declared that Stein’s recount gambit was a scam. “The American people have spoken; the election is over.”
Nonetheless, Stein’s mysteriously well funded recount gambit persisted. The idea seems to have been that if they could drag the recount out past the electoral vote deadline (December 19), those state’s electoral votes could not be given to Trump. As a result, neither he nor Clinton would have won the necessary 270 electoral votes. At that point the decision would move to the House of Representatives, which could elect pretty anyone but Trump.
Fortunately, not only did Stein miss the recount petition deadline in Pennsylvania, but Wisconsin refused a recount by hand and reaffirmed Trump’s win there–and the cherry on top is that Michigan finally, officially declared Trump the winner, giving him their 16 electoral votes. Thus Trump was crowned with a whopping 306 electoral votes to Hillary’s 232.

Did someone say “backfire”?
As always, the anti-Trump establishment was holding its breath for the recount ply to be “the end of Trump.”
Yesterday, we found out Wisconsin will charge us $3.5M—an outrageous increase from the initial estimate of $1.1M for #Recount2016.

Sorry, Doc, but you can’t stump the Trump.
Once it was clear that Stein’s scam was going down in flames, Trump decided to troll the media once again by saying that he would have won the popular vote too, if it weren’t for the millions of illegal voters that backed Clinton. And so began another episode of outraged tail-chasing by the media.
In addition to winning the Electoral College in a landslide, I won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally

“Not surprisingly,” IBD writes in an editorial, “the media take seriously and support Jill Stein’s and Hillary Clinton’s excellent vote-recount adventure, despite there being no indication a recount is needed. Heck, even President Obama agrees — Donald Trump won, period.”
But when Trump dares to suggest that illegal aliens voted in the election? The media respond with massive denial. “But, in fact,” continues the editorial, “it’s almost certain that illegals did vote — and in significant numbers. Whether it was three million or not is another question.”
As the IBD editorial also points out, a low-ball estimate says there are at least 11 million to 12 million illegals in the U.S., but more likely estimates put the number at 20 million to 30 million. With that many undocumented people floating around, at least some of them would end up voting. Indeed, a 2014 study in the online Electoral Studies Journal shows that in the 2008 and 2010 elections, illegal immigrant votes were in fact quite high.
“Specifically,” the UBD editorial explains, “illegals may have cast as many as 2.8 million votes in 2008 and 2010. That’s a lot of votes. And when you consider the population of illegal inhabitants has only grown since then, it’s not unreasonable to suppose that their vote has, too.”
As a result, illegal votes do help explain why Hillary has a nearly two-million-vote lead in the vaunted popular vote. A Pew Research Poll earlier this year found that 53% of the Democratic Party supports letting illegals vote, even though it’s against the law.
But isn’t Jill Stein with the Green Party? Isn’t she opposed to Hillary Clinton? Yes and no. After all, two huskies may not get along but when they are in harness pulling a sled, they function as perfect teammates. So it is with the Stein/Clinton dynamic and the recount ploy.
Stein’s running mate was Ajamu Baraka. Baraka was born on the southside of Chicago in 1953. He has been a civil rights activist for decades, but the point here is his employment history.
From 2004 to 2011, Baraka served as the founding executive director of the US Human Rights Network (USHRN). He has served on the boards of several human rights organizations, including Amnesty International, the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR).
Enter the Soros.
According to Fox News, “Funding for the USHRN … apparently comes from the Human Rights Fund, an umbrella group whose steering committee of philanthropies include the Ford Foundation, George Soros’ Open Society Institute, the Overbrook Foundation and an anonymous donor.”
As for the Center for Constitutional Rights, according to Wikipedia, “CCR received $495,000 in contributions from … the Open Society Institute,” which is by George Soros’s flagship foundation. Soros also has well-known ties to “Black Lives Matter,” which also ties him directly to Jill Stein.
Lastly, the Soros connection perfectly explains how Stein’s recount petition got funded so quickly. For all we know, Soros is trying to recap money he’s lost twice now supporting Crooked Hillary.
