Jordan has threatened the United States over Donald Trump’s planned actions going forward. Jordan indicated that if Trump moves ahead with plans to move its embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, they will launch massive waves of terrorist attacks. Jordan Information Minister Mohammed Momani told the Associated Press the move would be a “red line.” He was unspecific about what actions Jordan would take.

David Friedman, Trump’s pick for U.S. Ambassador in Israel, said he looks forward to working in Jerusalem. Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway said the move is a very high priority for the President-elect. Most countries, including the United States, maintain their embassies in Tel Aviv.

Several United Nations resolutions negated or ignored Israel’s history in the city. The Obama administration recently abstained from a vote in the Security Council, which allowed for a resolution to pass that harshly criticized Israel. The Palestinian State refuses to recognize Israel’s right to exist.

Hebrew King Solomon built the temple in Jerusalem around 832 B.C. It was destroyed by Babylon in 587 B.C. The temple was rebuilt, then destroyed again by the Romans in 70 A.D. It was recognized by the Romans to be the Hebrew capital.

Israel ceased to exist as nation until a U.N. resolution in 1947 re-created the Jewish State. Jerusalem was occupied by the U.N. until the 1948 war broke out with Jordan and Israel captured west Jerusalem. War broke out between the two nations again in 1968 and Israel captured east Jerusalem. Israel annexed the city as its capital at that time.

The Palestinians wish to annex the city as its capital in a future two state solution. How can you negotiate with a State who refuses another the right of existence? Their mail goal is to exterminate the Jewish population.

The United States spearheaded the 1948 resolution to reestablish Israel. It’s been a steadfast supporter ever since, until Obama took office. Then, he completely turned his back on the longtime ally.

Israel has been assaulted from all sides since ancient times. This continued through the holocaust, a tragic part of history, that many Muslim countries deny even happened. The U.S. acts of infidelity to Israel are shameful.

Obama’s relations with the Jewish State began to chill almost immediately. His concessions to Muslim States took priority. Tensions rose dramatically when Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu bypassed the Whitehouse and appealed directly to the U.S. Congress, in a plea not to move forward with the Iran nuclear deal.

The final betrayal to the Israelis was U.N. Ambassador Samantha Power refusing to exercise a U.S. veto to block a Security Council condemnation of Israel. This treachery by the Obama Administration was undoubtedly, fueled by a desire for revenge against Netanyahu for having to audacity to appeal directly to the U.S. Congress. Never in the history of this country, have we had a more thin-skinned President.

Netanyahu is the only Prime Minister in Israel’s history to have been elected three times in a row and has served in that office a total of four terms. He was the first Prime Minister to be born in Israel since it became a State. His administration will be the longest serving in modern Israeli history. He knows the neighborhood.

Benjamin, or Bibi as he’s affectionately called, served in the Sayeret Matkal, the special forces unit of the Israel Defense Forces.  He fought on the front lines in the War of Attrition, Yom Kipper War, and the Suez Canal. His leadership in the formation of anti-terror and hostage rescue missions led to his promotion as captain and team leader.

Can anybody honestly picture Barack Obama on the battlefield? He’s loathed by his own military and is the laughing stock of most of the world. His word can’t be taken seriously as he backs down at the first sign of trouble. Donald Trump understands the importance of our relationship with Israel. His plans to move the U.S. embassy there underscores this commitment. The statement he’s making is clearing understood by friends and foes alike.

The Jordanian’s also want Jerusalem to be the Palestinian capital in a so-called two state solution. They’ve refused to accept Palestinian refugees, even though they originate from that country. They don’t want them. Many say that Jordan is one of our only Muslim allies in the reason. What have they done for us? The answer is nothing. Even though the war with Isis is being fought in their own backyard, they don’t have much of a stomach for it.

President-elect Trump has made clear his unequivocal support for the State of Israel. This is a position Muslim countries should heed, especially given that they’re no longer going to be dealing with a weak President.

American and Israeli intelligence will again be working together. They have infiltrated many of the countries and terror groups sworn to kill us and cooperation with Israel is a vital step in protecting our country from Islamic terror attacks.

The fact that we’re loyal to our allies sends a powerful message to our advisories. Trump understands the premise of the carrot and the stick. It’s the basis for business and diplomatic negotiations. He’s not afraid to wield either one.

Friends and foes alike are positioning themselves for dealing with the new administration. They’re going to gain as much ground as they can before Obama leaves office as they fear no consequences. Trump has already fired a few shots across the bow of those attempting this strategy. He’s let them know, in no uncertain terms, there’s going to be a new sheriff in town.

Trump has assembled a shrewd and fearless team to help him lead this country. This is a lineup adversaries don’t want to see unleashed against them. His success in business means he understands the concept of a win-win situation.

For the first time, in a long time, we’ll have a President who puts America first.
