Just recently, a member of the extremely violent MS-13 gang pleaded guilty to “catfishing” and then brutally stabbing an unidentified 15-year-old teen to death. Apparently, he lured the boy to his death by pretending to be a female friend of a girl the victim was interested in.
Carlos Melara, a 21-year-old illegal immigrant from El Salvador who also goes by either “Chuchito” or “Criminal,” pleaded guilty earlier this week to “conspiracy to conduct enterprise affairs through a pattern of racketeering activity,” otherwise known as RICO conspiracy, for participating in the murder of a 15-year-old boy on Constitution Beach in East Boston, Massachusetts back in 2015.
As a consequence, Melara will be “sentenced to between 30 and 40 years in prison and be subject to deportation upon the completion of his sentence.”
According to reports, he was “one of the 61 people named in a fifth superseding indictment targeting the criminal activities of alleged leaders, members, and associates of MS-13.” In addition to Melara, Henry Josue Parada Martinez, otherwise known as “Street Danger,” and another unnamed MS-13 member also participated in the horrific killing.
Disturbingly, the victim was reportedly killed after being “catfished” by Melara and his accomplices.
“The defendants targeted the victim in a ‘catfishing’ scheme in which they used a fake Facebook account to trick the victim into thinking he was talking to a girl. In reality, the Facebook account was being controlled by MS-13 members to lure in suspected gang rivals so that the gang could murder them,” explained officials with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in a recently released statement about the incident.
“On the day of the murder, Melara picked up the victim on a scooter pretending to be a friend of the girl that the victim was planning to meet for a date,” they continued, adding, “Melara drove the victim to Constitution Beach, where the other MS-13 members were waiting to kill him. Melara and the other MS-13 members took turns attacking and stabbing the victim to death.”
After successfully killing the unsuspecting teen, the gang then promoted Melara to “homeboy” as a reward. Basically, this means that they made him a full-time member of MS-13. Thankfully, though, law enforcement officials were eventually able to tie him to the murder and place him under arrest.
Sadly, it’s not entirely uncommon for someone to be harmed or killed by an illegal immigrant.
Several weeks ago, for instance, officers with the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office (BPSO) arrested Daniel Hernandez Del Angel, a 43-year-old undocumented alien from Mexico, and charged him with “first-degree rape and molestation of a juvenile” for repeatedly raping a 7-year-old girl over the course of six months.
During the investigation into the assault against the young girl, officers discovered that Del Angel, who was a “family friend” of at least 20 years, also abused the victim’s mother when she was only 11-years-old.
Upon learning this information, law enforcement officials involved in with the case announced that he would be charged for that as well.
A few months before that, Miguel “Timido” Angel Lopez-Abrego, a 19-year-old undocumented alien who is also a member of MS-13, was arrested and charged with “first-degree murder.”
Apparently, he was involved in the gruesome gang-related killing of an unidentified man who was recently found buried deep in the woods of Wheaton, Maryland.
And several weeks before that, Daniel De Jesus Rangel Sherrer, a 19-year-old DACA recipient, was also arrested and charged with “first-degree murder” after he confessed to deputies at the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office to forcing Diana Martinez-Gonzalez, an 18-year-old high school student, into a wooded area and fatally shooting her multiple times in the head. Apparently, he killed her because she was supposedly spreading false rumors about him.
Prior to that, Salvador Diaz-Garcia, a 21-year-old “DREAMer” living in Washington, was arrested as well for brutally beating and raping a 19-year-old teen in her apartment complex’s gym. As a consequence, he’s facing several charges, including “second-degree assault, second-degree rape, and third-degree child molestation” and is being held on $25,000 bail.
On top of that, Angelo Martinez, a 20-year-old “DREAMer,” was also arrested last year for trying to steal a car from a group of football players in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
According to reports, he met the football players at the Loma Linda Community Center football field as they were walking to their car to leave. Despite the fact that he was allegedly “acting sketchy as if he was trying to get in [the car],” the players decided to give him a ride anyway.
Once in the car, Martinez reportedly kept changing his mind about the end destination. When they finally pulled over in front of what they thought was Martinez’s house, he pulled out a gun and told them to all get out of the car.
Terrified, the football players listened and began exiting the vehicle. However, as they were getting out, Martinez clumsily fumbled with the gun. Upon seeing this, one of the players jumped back in the car and started repeatedly punching Martinez in the face. The other players then jumped in and managed to restrain him until police arrived.
Incidents like these underscore the importance of deporting people who are living in the country illegally. While it may be true that only some undocumented aliens break the law, those who do ruin it for everyone else.
Because of this, anyone caught living here illegally needs to be removed. With fewer illegal immigrants living in the country, there will be fewer crimes committed by them, which means our country will ultimately be safer.
Thankfully, under President Donald Trump, this appears to be exactly what’s happening.
