McCabe Signs On With CNN: Backlash Immediately Follows

Andrew McCabe was instrumental in the soft coup against the president, withholding evidence and was eventually fired for lying under oath… what better place to showcase his talents than CNN?

Does anyone still even watch CNN?

In a move that is not a shock, the network news outlet CNN (known for its massive lies) has hired a man who was fired for lying.

That’s right, Andrew McCabe has signed on with what many people refer to as the fake news outlet, and conservatives are reacting.

The Daily Caller reported:

CNN senior media reporter Oliver Darcy announced the move on his Twitter account.

In addition to his nearly two years as deputy director, McCabe briefly served as the agency’s acting director following the firing of former FBI Director James Comey.

McCabe rose to international fame late in his tenure as deputy director, most notably for his clashes with the Trump administration.

McCabe’s wife was a Democratic candidate for Virginia state senate in 2015, and his tenure was marred with accusations of political bias, especially concerning the agency’s handling of the initial stages of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

President Donald Trump even accused McCabe and Comey of treason last year, and McCabe was fired last year just two days before his scheduled retirement. McCabe is currently suing the Justice Department and FBI for “wrongful termination,” alleging that his firing was politically motivated.

The Hill reported:

McCabe, 51, was fired from the FBI last year after an internal agency office that handles disciplinary matters received a recommendation from Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz, who was investigating the Clinton email probe, that McCabe was not forthcoming during his review, which included an investigation into a decision he made in 2016 to allow FBI officials to speak with reporters about an investigation into the Clinton Foundation.

He has made regular media appearances, mostly on CNN and MSNBC, since his dismissal. In February, he published a book that was highly critical of President Trump.

Earlier this month McCabe sued the Justice Department and FBI over his termination, arguing that his firing was a politically motivated move stemming from Trump’s attacks against him and other Justice officials.

CNN’s decision to hire McCabe was met with derision on social media, mostly from conservatives.

McCabe was fired for repeatedly lying to federal investigators under penalty of perjury & referred for prosecution by the IG.

Let’s call an an : CNN hired an established liar because he hates Trump. The high horse has been put out to pasture.

This is the same Andrew McCabe who lied to federal investigators?

Will be interesting to compare the coverage/outrage of this hiring to Sean Spicer appearing on a dancing show…

Andrew McCabe, one of the central figures of the “Russia collusion” hoax, who was fired from the FBI for lying about his leaks to the media, has been hired by CNN, one of the media outlets that did the most to perpetuate the damaging hoax.

It raises the question: How should former FBI officials who misled the public be treated when they seek positions of fame and privilege?

Andrew McCabe was fired by the FBI for leaking to the media and lying to the FBI about it.

I guess crime does pay.

No doubt.
