In a newsworthy story that is getting very little attention yet could blow up (perhaps literally) in the future, “Usama bin Laden’s son, Hamza bin Laden, reportedly married the daughter of the lead hijacker of the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks,” according to Fox News. They call the marriage “a match made in hell.”
Bin Laden’s half-brother informed the Guardian that his nephew has vowed to avenge his father (as he sees it) and has wed the daughter of Egyptian Mohammed Atta, the man who flew the first jet into the Twin Towers on 9/11. While it may seem quite rebellious and encouraging to terrorists who read of it, wedded bliss based on hype and vengeance will likely result in a successful marriage.
“We have heard he has married the daughter of Mohammed Atta,” stated Ahmad al-Attas, Hamza bin Laden’s half-brother. “We’re not sure where he is, but it could be Afghanistan.” Afghanistan was, of course, the breeding ground for much of the September 11th terror.
For a time, Atta’s life was so much of a mystery that no one knew if he was married (there is no record of it) or if he even had any children.
The younger Bin Laden “become an Al Qaeda leader under Usama’s former deputy, Ayman al-Zawahiri,” and like his old man, he too is designated as a terrorist by the U.S. government. No word as to whether or not he will get to dine with the Bush family like his father is said to have done at the White House.
It is being reported that “Usama’s half-brothers, Ahmad and Hassan” simply shook their heads when asked about the wedding.
“We thought everyone was over this. Then the next thing I knew, Hamza was saying, ‘I am going to avenge my father.’ I don’t want to go through that again,” said Hassan.
That means that the world may one day have to “go through that again” along with them, as the younger terrorist seems so obsessed by his father that he has let the rage choose his bride.
Now it just remains to see if she is a mad as her father, too.
