There is a misconception, largely perpetuated purposefully by the zealots who make up the anti-Trump crowd, that the White House is against the freedom of the press. The fact is, nothing is further from the truth. What President Trump is rightfully against is the lying and false news reporting that slanders and misrepresents the truth. This is something that is not and should never be legal.
The Bizpak Review worked today to expose the difference as they report that following the suspension of ABC’s Brian Ross “for a month due to his shoddy reporting to the plea agreement of former National Security Advisor Gen. Michael Flynn,” the Commander in Chief said that the American people should sue the bias network. This all goes back to the adage about crying “fire!” in a crowded theater for no reason, and this time, it cost millions.
“People who lost money when the Stock Market went down 350 points based on the False and Dishonest reporting of Brian Ross of @ABC News (he has been suspended), should consider hiring a lawyer and suing ABC for the damages this bad reporting has caused – many millions of dollars!” tweeted the president.

The fallout from the screed that Ross produced certainly affected the lives of many investors, so Trump is conveying a lot more than sour grapes here. He is exposing the corruption and he is reminding the people that the power resides within them, not the other way around. This applies no matter how large the corporation may be. Trump needs to be praised for standing boldly and highlighting this fact, not condemned.
Ross said that Trump ordered Flynn to contact the Russians, a story that has no basis whatsoever in reality. As a matter of fact, all signs seem to point to the exact opposite of this being the case!
Chants of “lock him up” followed on “The View,” but the truth is so clear that even ABC had to punish the reporter for fake news. After all, such untrue murmurings could embolden an impeachment which is certainly not earned in this case according to what is currently known.
Flynn was asked by Trump to contact Russia only after he was elected, which as we all know, if part and parcel of his job.
Twitter user Janice Brown tweeted, “Say hi to Mr. Lawsuit” in her tweet to the connivers at ABC. Likewise, For Thou Art With Me tweeted, “I am loving this, it’s only the peoples President that can do this, we are used to the press having their way and dealing with us, today, the POTUS s dealing with them. Time to start suing ABC.”

Even those who dislike the president should be quite thankful that he is reminding the voters and the population that we have a voice. When the very powerful do things that harm the good of us all (and even hurt investors in a market only now recovering), we can fight back and battle the corruption.
It is a message that the U.S. has needed to hear from the White House for far too long.
