Manhunt Continues For Illegal Alien Who Murdered California Cop

Yesterday afternoon, police were still searching for an illegal alien who murdered a Newman Police Department corporal and new social media images seem to connect him to a criminal gang.

Stanislaus County Sheriff Adam Christianson has reported that one of his finest officers was gunned down by an illegal alien.

The massive manhunt for an illegal alien continued Thursday afternoon as Stanislaus County detectives searched a farmhouse about 12 miles south of Merced on Thursday afternoon in connection with the shooting death of Corporal Ronil Singh, an immigrant who has cheerfully served the country with dedication.

UPDATE: the suspect has been captured, and is in police custody. He has been identified as 25-year-old Adrian Virgen.

In Newman, California, Stanislaus County Sheriff Adam Christianson said during a press conference that he believed the suspect was still in the area.

“We will find him, we will arrest him and we will bring him to justice,” Christianson said.

Thirty-three-year-old Singh was shot and killed at 1 a.m. Wednesday after pulling over a suspected drunk driver. After identifying the suspect, police learned that he was here basking in the sanctuary given to California illegals.

“He doesn’t belong here; he is a criminal,” the sheriff said.

New information circulating on social media potentially connects the suspect to a gang.

Fox news reported:

The illegal immigrant wanted by California cops for the murder of one of their own may have connections to a Mexican-American street gang, according to an image circulating on social media confirmed as authentic by investigators. The photo shows the alleged “cop-killer” posing in a tank-top shirt, with a metal chain necklace draped around his neck and a large flaming skull tattoo visible on his right arm. Underneath the tattoo is the word “$ur3no$,” which, according to police in Washington State, is Spanish for “southerners.”

“Sureños are a group of Mexican-American street gangs with origins in southern California (south of Bakersfield),” reads a profile on the group in a police gang recognition guide. “The gang has allegiance to the [California] prison gang, Mexican Mafia, aka “La Eme.”

Ten alleged members of the Sureños gang were charged in April for their suspected roles in seven murders in the Bay Area dating back to 2006, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Gang members have also been busted conducting human smuggling.

After the press conference, President Donald Trump reminded the American people of the need for a border wall to ensure the sovereignty of the nation.

“There is right now a full scale manhunt going on in California for an illegal immigrant accused of shooting and killing a police officer during a traffic stop. Time to get tough on Border Security. Build the Wall!” President Trump tweeted.

Christianson said he could not discuss whether the suspect was alone at the time of the traffic stop and shooting, but he did say that deputies are looking for no other suspects.

“The primary suspect is the only suspect involved in the murder of Officer Singh,” Christianson said.

“It was a gunfight,” the sheriff added, “Cpl. Singh absolutely tried to defend himself and stop this credible threat.”

The truck the suspect was driving was found Wednesday afternoon about 5 miles away from the scene of the shooting.

At the morning news conference, an emotional Newman Police Chief Randy Richardson described the officer, and why he was such a patriot.

He tearfully explained that the department is hurting and “struggling through this.”

Richardson said Singh immigrated to the United States from Fiji, determined to be a police officer, and commuted over two hours to the police academy in Yuba City.

The father of a five-month-old son “worked as a reserve officer for the Merced County Sheriff’s Office and as a cadet and animal control officer in Turlock before being hired by Newman in 2011.”

“Anything he could do to get his foot in the door in law enforcement,” Richardson said.

“He truly loved what he did,” Richardson said. “You’ve never seen a man smile more than him. I know that is said a lot in these things, but you ask anyone, he was never in a bad mood. He loved being a police officer, he loved being a husband, he loved being a father. He loved to hunt, he loved to fish … jet ski and ride his flyboard.”

“His five-month-old, he will never hear talk; he will never see his son walk; he will never get to hold that little boy, hug his wife, say goodnight anymore, because a coward took his life,” Richardson explained.

More than ever, people are waking up to the fact that allowing every criminal across the border is a dangerous and deadly act.

While top democrats enjoy their holiday, a legal immigrant who only sought to serve the country is dead at the hands of an illegal democrat policies protected.

A memorial fund has been set up for the family by the Stanislaus Sworn Deputies Association.
