Recently released text messages from rogue FBI officials Lisa Page and Peter Strzok reveal the bureau was considering appointing a special prosecutor to investigate former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s email scandal.
But messages suggest the agency decided not to appoint U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald as a special counsel because they feared Clinton would win the 2016 presidential election and unleash her “wrath.”
“One more thing: she might be our next president,” Page wrote to Strzok in March 2016. “The last thing you need us going in there loaded for bear. You think she’s going to remember or care that it was more doj than fbi?”
“Agreed,” Strzok replied.
Strzok is the former top FBI official who was fired last summer by Special Counsel Robert Mueller for sending politically charged and vile anti-Trump text messages to Page, a top FBI lawyer he was having an affair with for months.
On May 13, 2016, Page asked Strzok in a text: “Hey forgot to ask if you mentioned the whole special counsel thing to andy?”
Andy refers to current Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, who President Donald Trump has publicly labeled as an Obama-holdover.
Comey and the FBI didn’t appoint a special counsel into Clinton jeopardizing our national security, Benghazi, her private server, or deleting tens of thousands of emails.
As previously reported, Strzok was the official who altered Comey’s draft statement that originally described Clinton’s handling of classified email and her private email server as “grossly negligent” to “extremely careless,” protecting her from criminal charges.
The two rogue agents made it clear that they not only shielded Clinton from a special prosecutor and prison charges because they thought she would be the election, but they feared that being too hard on her would result in her wrath.
Top FBI officials, who also worked for Mueller’s investigation into alleged collusion between Trump and Russia, corruptly abused their power to shield Clinton.
Many would agree they broke the law and deserve to go to prison for their actions. These are the people Mueller has hired to lead the phony Russia witch hunt.
