A Phone Call Is What Stopped The Repeal From Going Through.

A Phone Call Is What Stopped The Repeal From Going Through.

This past week, Republicans failed to pass a “skinny” repeal on the Affordable Care Act, better known as ObamaCare. The nail in the coffin was Senator John McCain (R-AZ) voting “no” to officially end any hopes of having the legislation revoked.

It was unknown at the time why McCain voted the way he did. However, reports are coming out saying that former Vice President Joe Biden called McCain to have a conversation with him. That conversation was a plea to keep ObamaCare in place.

The phone call centered around McCains recent cancer diagnosis, and Biden begging him to reconsider. It obviously worked and Americans have to suffer through ObamaCare. Thanks Biden.
