Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton covered up major sexual assault allegations levied against a top adviser to her 2008 presidential campaign.
According to The New York Times (subscription required), four sources with knowledge of the situation said Clinton played a major role is silencing a young staffer who said Burns Strider, Clinton’s senior faith adviser, sexually harassed and sexually assaulted her.
The report indicates that when Patti Solis Doyle, who served as Clinton’s campaign manager at the time, asked Clinton to fire Strider amid credible allegations, Clinton cultivated a plan to cover it all up.
Clinton directed Doyle and other senior officials to have Strider merely undergo counseling and lose a few weeks of pay, which didn’t sit well with some staffers.
The young women, at the request of Clinton, was reassigned from her division and forced to sign a nondisclosure agreement.
The 30-year-old unidentified woman claimed Strider rubbed her shoulders on numerous occasions in an manner that made her feel uncomfortable, kissed her on the forehead, and sent her a slew of lewd and sexually explicit emails.
Strider is the official Hillary Clinton boasted about during the 2016 presidential election who emailed her Bible scriptures each morning to help get her day started.
Turns out Clinton’s lead faith adviser was a sexual predator, and Clinton played a big role in not only silencing the victim — which isn’t a shocker — but she devised the plan to cover it all up to protect Strider.
After failing to secure the Democratic nomination in the 2008 presidential election, Strider launched Correct the Record, a left-wing political group who played a big role in helping Clinton’s failed presidential bid in the 2016 presidential election.
Strider was reportedly fired from the group after several months in light of scathing allegations that he had sexually harassed a young female aide at the group.
This guy is nothing but a sexual predator, and given that Clinton has a well-documented history of silencing women who come forward with allegations of sexual misconduct, many won’t find it surprising that she covered this up.
Hillary Clinton claims to be a champion of women’s rights, but all she seems to do is silence women when they come forward with allegations of sexual misconduct against her husband and former officials.
