Political pundits have long wondered why President Obama often ignored vital issues while he was in office. For example, why was the Russian hacking threat not acted on? It can not be blamed on President Donald Trump since he was not even a candidate while much of this was going on. Today, it is a bit clearer just why that may have been the case.
AOL has confirmed that former V.P. Joe Biden has claimed that “Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell refused to join them in publicly condemning Russia’s meddling in the 2016 US presidential election.” This means, among other things, that President Donald Trump is being used as a scapegoat for this purposeful negligence of which he had zero control over. We are being told that this play was only because Biden did not want to protect the image of U.S.
It also means, according to some, that very powerful people wanted this to happen in regards to Russia, something this is more than a bit unsettling to those who know the agenda of the N.W.O.
Joe Biden said that this was “all about the political play,” something that may be the case. Certainly, many in the G.O.P. have been known to have acted in ways that were not in the best interest of the people, just as Democrats have. While any wrongdoing on the part of McConnell should be proven before embraced, it could very well be the case.
Obama and his staff did not put out a statement about the issue because they feared that it could cast doubt on the honesty of U.S. elections. However, once Mr. Trump got into office (instead of Clinton who Biden was rooting for), the Democrats had no qualms about making false accusations. Suddenly, because they lost, they were ready to imply that the elections were rigged.
This is important, because if Mrs. Clinton had come out victorious, this whole scam may have never come to light so that her victory would not be questioned.
Biden said, “Can you imagine if the president called a press conference in October, with this fella, Bannon, and company, and said, ‘Tell you what: Russians are trying to interfere in our elections, and we have to do something about it.” Again, we see the effort to tie this into something that Donald Trump did, which is a theory not supported by evidence.
In an effort to get voters to believe that the high ground was taken by the Obama administration, he added, “What do you think would have happened? Would things have gotten better, or would it further look like we were trying to delegitimize the electoral process, because of our opponent?”
The problem is, as the White House desk used to proclaim, the buck stops at the Commander in Chief. Obama was able, if he had so desired, to look into this without making waves and he did not.
Biden claims that if Mitch McConnell had informed him of the matter, he “may have done something more.” This would make him sound quite honest indeed, except for the fact that the DNC has records which show that they already knew that something was amiss long before this.
Before anyone gets the pitchforks out for McConnell, it should be noted that he disputes the accusations and has proof to back him up. He points “to a letter signed by congressional leaders around two months before the election that warned the National Association of State Election Directors of cybersecurity concerns.”
McConnell added that the document was and is “publicly available on the Internet for all to see.”
Let us be real and admit that if Mrs. Clinton had won, we would be hearing none of this. There is a very real likelihood that the left did not to address any of these concerns because they assumed that the former First Lady was going to win.
When she did not, all hell broke loose, and Mr. Trump has been slandered ever since. That is what all of the evidence thus far has shown us and it’s not something that can be easily blamed on Mitch McConnell, regardless of how Joe Biden tries to spin it.
