University of Wisconsin Tells Students to Wear Hijabs for Islam Appreciation Week
Every journey begins with a single step. And in Wisconsin this week, that first step was to persuade American women to don the garb of traditional Muslims.
The goal is to get these college-aged women to experience firsthand what it feels and looks like to be a Muslim woman. We’ll leave readers to guess where the final destination of this journey is intended to be.
The vehicle is “Islam Appreciation Week”, an event hosted by the University of Wisconsin Muslim Student Association and Wisconsin Union Directorate Global Connection.

The Muslim Student Association (MSA) has roughly 600 chapters across the United States and Canada. Its stated goal is to “facilitate networking, educating, and empowering the students of today to be citizens of tomorrow’s community”. From the words of Muslim leaders around the world, we can assume that the definition of “tomorrow’s community” includes Shariah Law under an Islamic Caliphate.
The MSA was created by the Muslim Brotherhood during the radical 1960s, in President Obama’s home town of Chicago. In a 1991 memo from the Muslim Brotherhood outlining the strategic goals for North America, their work in America is described as a “grand jihad, destroying and eliminating Western civilization from within”. The MSA is listed as one of their close affiliate organizations.
In a recent article in Conservative Daily Post, we described how the MSA has been very active in Canada, successfully pressuring public K-12 schools to set aside special places for Islamic sermons and prayers during the school day. They are reaching children at a young age, and introducing them to Islam in taxpayer-funded environments which require mandatory attendance.
The New York Times described the original MSA chapters as “basically little slices of Saudi Arabia.” They reported that the group received most of its funding from Saudi Arabia, discriminated against women, and “advocated theological political positions derived from radical Islamist organizations.”

Through the 1970s and 80s, the MSA was under investigation by the FBI for terror-related activities. Many of its members and top leaders had connections to groups such as NAIT that provided financing and support for jihad operations. Former MSA national president Abdurrahman Alamoudi was convicted on terrorism-related charges in 2004, and admitted to being a secret Muslim Brotherhood operative.

The Muslim Brotherhood: Devoted to Spreading Islam Across the West
According to the Investigative Project on Terrorism, “Through conferences and events, publications, websites and other activities, MSA has disseminated and promoted militant Islamic ideologies on college and university campuses throughout North America.” A 2007 NYPD report listed MSA as a “radicalization incubator.”
Despite the history of the organization it has been allowed to flourish across public campuses all over North America, pushing its agenda of normalizing Islam and erasing the separation between church and state.

The timing of December’s “Islam Appreciation Week” at University of Wisconsin could not have been worse. On the opening day of the event, a Somalian Muslim at neighboring Ohio State University went on a murderous rampage, driving his car into pedestrians and then chasing students with a butcher knife. Eleven students were wounded before the attacker was killed by a police officer.
The response by the mainstream media has been to heap sympathy upon the violent assailant, while almost completely omitting any mention of the victims’ suffering. This Facebook post from the Director of Residence Life at the campus, sums up the response among leftists:

Sympathy for the Attacker, but None for the Victims!
Later in the week, news broke of a Saudi Arabian woman facing calls for execution, for allowing herself to be photographed in public without wearing the Islamic head covering called a hijab.
Her photo went viral on social media, sparking many Saudis to issue death threats and calls for severe punishment.

So it’s ironic that during this same week, American women are being pressured to wear the hijab, which many consider a symbol of Islam’s oppression of women. They are being told it’s normal, even beautiful, and that the only way for them to understand Muslims is to wear their traditional clothing.
After extensive searches, we could not find any reference in North America to a Christian Appreciate Week, Jewish Appreciation Week, Catholic, Buddhist or Hindu Appreciation Weeks. Nor could we find any instances of Muslim students being asked to wear a crucifix or Star of David in an effort to understand other religions. It appears this demand for religious tolerance is a one-way street for Muslim students.
This summer, the California State Assembly unanimously passed a bill to declare August “Muslim Appreciation and Awareness Month”, proposed by Democrat Assemblyman Bill Quirk and backed by CAIR.
“I am proud to celebrate the first ever Muslim Appreciation and Awareness Month by honoring generations of Muslim Americans for their many social, cultural, and economic contributions to California,” said Quirk in a CAIR press release. In searching for evidence of these contributions, we were unable to find anything other than the construction of mosques and the spread of fear due to violent terror attacks.

Another Opportunistic Politician Scores Cheap Points from his Base of Liberal Lemmings
Again, an exhaustive search found no reference to any other state-sponsored religious celebration month. It would appear that Islam – an ideology that has spawned numerous violent attacks across America in just the past two years – has been singled out for special praise and celebration, at the expense of all other religious beliefs and cultures.
One can only imagine the public outcry and legal challenges that would result if a Republican Senator attempted to declare a “Christian Appreciation Month” in any state, city, or school district. Merely displaying symbols of Christmas has been outlawed across much of the country, due to legal principles around church and state separation. Islam appears to be the only exception to our nation’s legal framework on this matter.
For many of the young women participating in the University of Wisconsin event, there are signs they were motivated by the attention they would attract, and the chance to shove their extreme leftist viewpoints into other students’ faces.

An Excited New Cult Member Eagerly Accepts Her Articles of Faith
Anna Ambros, a sophomore at UW, said she wished more people came up to her during the day to ask why she was wearing a hijab.
“I got some looks,” Ambros said. “I’m sure they were wondering why I was wearing a hijab because I never had before. I’m not a Muslim.”
During the day, Ambros said she wanted that dialogue to help educate others and break stereotypes. To her, having controversial conversations are really important.
Ambros said she originally decided to participate to support Muslim women during the current climate. Presumably she is referring to her side losing the presidential election in a crushing defeat by Donald Trump. Wearing the hijab is likely her way of attempting to “get revenge” against her fellow Americans for not voting the way she wanted them to.
As acceptance and normalization of Islam is pushed across the country, particularly among impressionable young women, we can expect the same results seen in other countries. This includes a rapid increase in the number of White Christian females converting to Islam and choosing to live under the oppressive dictates of the regressive Middle Eastern religion.

British Women Are Betraying Their Heritage in Record Numbers
In England, a news report from five years ago says that more than 100,000 Britons have converted to Islam, being most popular among White Christian women in their mid twenties. The number is surely much higher today.
We can expect the same trends to gather steam in the United States and Canada, for as long as Islam is allowed a platform on campus to the exclusion of other faiths.
