Paul Ryan is now questioning if the wall is going to get done.

Paul Ryan is now questioning if the wall is going to get done.

Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) is no real friend of the G.O.P. For that matter, he is really a middle of the road, lukewarm Republican who is somewhere in the RINO pen between Lindery Graham (R-SC) and (little) Marco Rubio (R-FL). Now the Gateway Pundit is reporting that he has struck yet again, this time with words that shall anger the loyal Trump base.

Perhaps Ryan was stating facts and not sabotaging the president. Who can trust him after Obamacare? In any event, he claims that “Congressional support for a border wall between the U.S. and Mexico is nonexistent” and that “only one member” actually supports the White House in this VERY needed endeavor.

At a private dinner following the passage of “two minor bills,” Ryan said, “Ryan told a group of Republicans he met with … that only one person wants a wall,” according to  Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-CO).

As for there only being one member who shows support for The Wall, we know of quite a few politicians who wish to save the economy from illegals and Tancredo says, “Of course he means only one person in his entourage and of the leadership. I know several people in Congress who want a wall and I know that there are millions of Americans who want a wall.”

He added, “The Chamber of Commerce doesn’t want a wall … the pressure is greater from the Chamber of Commerce than it is from the members.”

To be fair, Ryan has released statements that imply that he is in support of Mr. Trump’s wall.

Those who support the President have learned the hard way NOT to EVER trust Paul Ryan.

Those who support the President have learned the hard way NOT to EVER trust Paul Ryan.

So, either he is lying or he is just stating what he feels to be true; that the Commander in Chief has no support for it. Perhaps he is not happy about it, but wouldn’t Tancredo have picked up that from Ryan’s tone?

The fact is, we can’t trust most of the G.O.P. We saw this during the campaign and it is why much of Trump’s votes came from independents and libertarians.

The same people, it should be noted, who do NOT support Paul Ryan.
