How is it possible for someone to take advantage of a tragedy to push their political agenda? Ask the Democrats. Hillary and several other liberals are joining forces in this time of mourning to vilify guns and the NRA;
“The crowd fled at the sound of gunshots. Imagine the deaths if the shooter had a silencer, which the NRA wants to make easier to get.”
Over 55 have been killed and over 500 injured in what is being called the deadliest mass shooting in American history. This seems like the most inappropriate time to have this discussion.
Our grief isn't enough. We can and must put politics aside, stand up to the NRA, and work together to try to stop this from happening again.

Yet it seems Dems have a history of exactly this type of behavior. Hillary is not the only one to jump on this disgusting bandwagon.
Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) made a statement this morning;
“This must stop. It is positively infuriating that my colleagues in Congress are so afraid of the gun industry that they pretend there aren’t public policy responses to this epidemic. here are, and the thoughts and prayers of politicians are cruelly hollow if they are paired with continued legislative indifference. It’s time for Congress to get off its a** and do something.”
Let’s be clear. The shots were fired from a hotel window. The area where concertgoers were was a firearm-free zone, everyone was checked coming into the show. This was not about lax gun laws. This was a disturbed man committing mass murder.
The House of Representatives has a bill currently called the SHARE Act that would reform silencer regulations. The NRA and gun rights supporters are advocating for it, calling it a win for sportsmen. This is partially why liberals are making use of this terrible situation.
We are not powerless against such evil. We must take common sense, widely supported, steps to reduce such violence, agony and grievous loss.

Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) added his opinion;
“It has been barely a year since what was previously the largest mass shooting in American history — the deadly attack at Pulse nightclub. In the interim, thousands more have been lost to the daily, ruthless toll of gun violence. Still, Congress refuses to act. I am more than frustrated, I am furious. one thing is certain: Yet again, we are watching in horror as another American community is torn apart by the terrible devastation wrought by a gunman.”
Unsurprisingly Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) joined in the call. It is insulting that they offer condolences and then push their rhetoric;
“I’m heartsick for the victims of last night’s massacre in Las Vegas & their loved ones…”
Tragedies like Las Vegas have happened too many times. We need to have the conversation about how to stop gun violence. We need it NOW.

This disgusting display will only get worse. Some of them will have the decency to wait a day or two but make no mistake, the words will be the same.
