“Do you think they’ll ever find out?” – “Not if we play Russia the right way….”
We’ve all done it.
Cleaning up your office, you put a stack of loose papers and envelopes in the “sorting” area on your desk. Or, instead of cleaning your first cup for a second drink, you just grab a new cup to “wash both later.” Or, my personal favorite, sweeping the floor you whisk most of the debris under the couch, reassuring yourself you’ll “vacuum it all up” later.
Cutting corners. Putting things off. Leaving a solution to a later day. Shoveling dirt under the carpet. It’s human nature. Not so terrible on its own… but what if the rug were the size of a couple continents and your dirt could topple a nation?
As a CDP reader, you’re probably a bit of a news junkie. You also probably know it’s easy to get worked up about any passing story. But you also know that sometimes… sometimes the stories pile up, people keep sharing the bad news, and the safe world of online information suddenly threatens to engulf our real lives.
That’s how things are unfolding between Russia and the USA as we speak. For the past few years, the Democrats have been sweeping some massive piles of dirt under the carpet, only this carpet was a combination of Internet secrecy and a Russian energy swindle. As we all know, you can only sweep so much dirt under the rug for so long before it starts tumbling back out into an even bigger mess.
This is what a geopolitical mess looks like when the rug gets lifted up, as The Independent reports:
[On Monday, Dmitry Kiselyov, a] Russian news presenter, dubbed the “Kremlin’s chief propagandist”, has warned the United States any “impudent behaviour” towards Moscow could have “nuclear” implications. …
During Monday’s programme a Russian defence ministry spokesman also warned US bombers not to target the Syrian army. “We’ll shoot them down,” commented Mr Kiselyov….
In the past he has boasted that Russia was the only single country “genuinely capable of turning the USA into radioactive ash” and claimed last year: “In Syria, America stands on the side of the terrorist caliphate”. …
The German foreign minister [Frank-Walter Steinmeir] claimed that mounting tensions between the US and Russia have led to a global political situation which is “more dangerous” than the Cold War.
These words appear to be much more than hollow chestpounding. First of all, as I reported earlier, Russia is literally calling its own political official back into the proverbial city gates.
Putin sent out an order to top Russian officials, politicians and their children across the world demanding that they return to the Motherland.
Retired Russian Lt. Gen. Evgeny Buzhinsky told the BBC Russia that US interests would suffer if the situation escalates.
“If you want a confrontation, you’ll get one. But it won’t be a confrontation that doesn’t harm the interests of the United States. You want a confrontation, you’ll get one everywhere,” Buzhinsky warned.
War Games: Not Just For Kids Anymore
On top of that, the Russian military test fired three ballistic missiles today.
The U.S. Defense Ministry said a nuclear submarine of the Russian Pacific Fleet launched an intercontinental ballistic missile from the Sea of Okhotsk off Russia’s far east at a military firing range in the northwest on Wednesday.
A Northern Fleet nuclear submarine later fired a missile in the opposite direction from the Barents Sea, in the far north west.
Separately, a ground-based Topol intercontinental ballistic missile was fired from the Plesetsk launch pad in northern Russia at the Kamchatka range in eastern Russia.
With the stakes getting this high, why does Hillary Clinton and the Democratic party keep “talking trash” to Russia?
Because they’re trying to keep the rug on top of all the dirt they hid in Russia.
As I reported earlier, the Hillary Clinton campaign was notified in July 2015 that Senator Chuck Grassley had sent a letter to Attorney General Loretta Lynch three days earlier with serious questions about the illegal role Hillary Clinton might have played as both Secretary of State and a key member of the Clinton Foundation.
Here are the key points from Grassley’s letter:
- In January 2013 Uranium One, owner of U.S.-based uranium assets, was acquired by Atomredmetzoloto (ARMZ), a subsidiary of Rosatom, a Russian government owned company. The transaction effectively gave 20% of U.S. uranium production capacity to the Russian government.
- During critical stages of the acquisition approval, interested parties made large donations – some in the millions of dollars – to the Clinton Foundation while Ms. Hillary Clinton held the position of Secretary of State.
- Between 2008 and 2010, Uranium One and former UrAsia investors donated $8.65 million to the Clinton Foundation. During this period of time, Uranium One’s legal hold on the Kazakhstan-based uranium deposits was in doubt. Allegedly, Uranium One executives contacted U.S. Embassy officials in Kazakhstan to help ensure the validity of their mining licenses. In 2009, when the validity of the mining licenses was at issue, the Chairman of Uranium One, Mr. Ian Telfer, donated $1 million to the Clinton Foundation.
- In June 2010, Rosatom, via ARMZ, sought majority ownership in Uranium One. Mr. Telfer donated $250,000 to the Clinton Foundation during this crucial time, and over $2 million through 2013. In addition, in June 2010, President Clinton was paid $500,000 for a speech in Russia, funded by a Russian investment bank that assigned a buy rating to Uranium One stock and also reportedly had ties to the Kremlin.
Lastly, Senator Grassley, explains:
The risk of conflicts with Secretary Clinton at State was so great that the Clinton Foundation and the Obama Administration entered into a memorandum of understanding which, in part, required donations to be disclosed. However, millions of dollars in donations to the Clinton Foundation from executives with an interest in the Uranium One/ARMZ transaction were not disclosed, breaching the agreement.
Without the ongoing Wikileaks disclosures, we might never have known any of this. That is why so many politicians want Julian Assange arrested and even executed. To those with secrets to hide, Assange is a reckless hacker, but a hero to those of us who simply want the truth.
For the record, Wikileaks does not “hack” anything; it is a journalistic organization that organizes and publishes hacked materials that others send them.
America trusts Wikileaks more than the Mainstream Media–and why shouldn’t they?
Is it starting to make sense now? Is it really so surprising that Hillary and her globalist pals would want to destabilize the Ukraine by funding what amount to right-wing flash mobs? It seems the “Russian reset button” was not enough to tie up the Clintons’ loose ends in Russia. Now, as disturbing as it is to imagine, a war with Russia is a perfect way to destabilize the entire region to cover shady Clinton deals in the fog of war.
