Grassley Demands FBI Documents Regarding Flynn Interview

Grassley believes there could have been illegal acts by senior FBI officials to frame Gen. Flynn for lying to the FBI.

Grassley is done playing games with Ford's legal team.

Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa is demanding to see all documents related to the FBI’s interview with former White House national security adviser Michael Flynn, according to the American Thinker. Grassley appears to believe there’s a massive FBI cover-up involving false 302 forms.

In a bombshell letter to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, Grassley wants to see forms and documents regarding Peter Strzok’s 302 notes, and other agent who Grassley named in the letter, during his interview with Flynn in early 2017. A mandatory 302 form is what agents fill out to detail an interview.

Strzok served as the No. 2 counterintelligence official at the FBI prior to be demoted last year and fired from Special Counsel Robert Mueller‘s Russia team after being exposed for sending countless anti-Trump text messages to Lisa Page, a senior FBI lawyer with whom he was having an affair. Page resigned from the FBI earlier this month.

In a scathing letter to Rosenstein, Grassley is now demolishing the excuses and demanding the FBI and Department of Justice hand over all documents related to Flynn to Congress. Perhaps he’s looking at the bigger picture: uncovering the plot to frame Flynn for lying to the FBI, including likely criminal acts by senior members of the FBI?

In February 2017, Strzok was sent to the White House to interview Flynn about contacts he had with Russian ambassadors. It has long been common practice for officials in the incoming administration to speak with ambassadors of many nations about future policies and deals.

Fired FBI Director James Comey told Congress that Strzok said Flynn never lied to him about anything and was truthful about his contacts. So why did Mueller charge him with two counts of lying? That’s the first question Grassley wants to know.

Second, Grassley reveals at the end of his letter to Rosenstein that there was a second agent present when Strzok interviewed Flynn. Many didn’t know a second agent was present, but Grassley revealed FBI special agent Joe Pientka transcribed the interview.

Grassley is requesting all documents related to Pientka, his involvement in the questioning of Flynn, and role in the bureau’s Russia investigation. Here’s where it gets even better: Strzok and Page exchanged text messages discussing how scared they were about the FBI’s interview of Flynn and the records they kept.

Grassley is trying to investigate widely circulated rumors on Capitol Hill that senior FBI officials instructed Strzok and Pientka to word their 302 forms to make it look like Flynn lied. Again, Comey told lawmakers that Flynn never lied and was completely truthful. So, who could have given the order? Many believe it was fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.

On Jan. 23, 2017, one day before the Flynn interview, Page wrote to Strzok: “I can feel my heart beating harder, I’m so stressed about all the ways THIS has the potential to go fully off the rails.”

Strzok replies: “I know. I just talked with John, we’re getting together as soon as I get in to finish that write up for Andy this morning.”

What were Page and Strzok so stressed about? Setting up Flynn, ruining his life, and framing him for crimes he never committed?

Here’s the cherry on top: in Sept. 2016, when Congress began requesting documents related to Mueller and the FBI’s Russia probe, Strzok texted Page about withholding “VERY inflammatory” things from Congress in the 302 forms.

Here’s a screenshot from Fox News:

They are literally discussing committing crimes, yet Page was able to resign and Strzok is still employed at the bureau. Altering 302s is a felony, and it appears, Comey-Strzok-Page-McCabe concocted a major plot to frame Flynn for lying so they could “turn him” on President Donald Trump.

This also comes on the heels of Uttam Dhillon, the White House lawyer who “misled” Trump on his legal authority to fire Comey, being suspected of leaking the Mueller questionnaire last month to the media. See how far the deep state is willing to go to derail Trump?

We are arguably talking about the biggest scandal in modern political history, and Grassley may be closer than ever before to fully exposing the plot for framing Flynn and derailing Trump’s presidency with bogus charges.
