Privacy hardly exists in the U.S. any longer. Driving checkpoints, constant surveillance, and other similar things have taken the grand eraser to the 4th Amendment. As a matter of fact, even privacy in the bathroom is a thing of the past, a fact shown by a “GOP candidate running for Congress in California,” the Daily Caller confirmed.
At a Denny’s restaurant in Los Angeles, California, a man (as factual biology defines it) used the ladies room and Jazmina Saavedra is said to have made things “spicy” by calling him out on it. The reaction was nothing short of explosive.
The Hill reports that she entered the lavatory only to find a man using it. Saavedra “confronted” the gentleman about it, all the while filming the conservation. It was even streamed on her Facebook Live platform, causing it to “go viral.”
The lady got the attention of a manager and when the man emerged from the restroom, the candidate had some things to say to him.
“You’re invading my privacy,” the man snapped.
Saavedra replied, “You’re invading my privacy because I’m a woman and I deserve to use the woman — the ladies’ room.”
There was no “gender neutral” bathroom in the popular establishment and this implied that men and women knew where to go. In confused America, 2018, however, that is not always the case.
“How can I be with a man inside of the ladies’ room just because he thinks he’s a lady? This is unbelievable,” the candidate also said. “Only in California, this happens.”
While many states are dealing with the issue, Saavedra was referring to “California’s Equal Restroom Access Act, which has been in effect since March 1, requires some establishments with single-occupancy restrooms to indicate that the restroom is gender-neutral.”
All of this boils down to a matter of privacy. Girls dealing with their menstrual cycle, for instance, may not want a strange man in a dress looming in the next stall. Nor would some amputees, cancer patients, or just the self-conscience.
Biology, which does not change even with a sex change procedure, defines gender. Not mood, sexual preference, or feelings.
It is good to see that, even in liberal California, people are starting to understand this truth again.
