According to analysis from the Daily Caller, Google´s new fact-checking feature almost exclusively targets conservative media. In a time where the left has shown its extreme intolerance to the different points of views that don’t fit with their narrative, Google is now becoming their most powerful weapon.
The evidence that Google´s progressive bias is trickling down into its product represents a horrible puzzle that completes a frightening picture. After all, just as what happened in Nazi Germany, those outlets that don’t provide the information that fit with its interests will be “vetted” by the tech giant. Naturally, if Google is taking up the banner of the Third Reich, its CEO Sunder Pichai seems to be a modern version of Joseph Goebbels.
This new fact-checking feature displays “fact-checks” next to allegedly disputed articles in the search results. Experts believe that while the official reason to make this move is to highlight if certain information is reliable or not, the truth is that this could be nothing more than an aggressive persecution against conservative outlets.
This week started in the worst way possible for the tech giant, considering the explosive information that was revealed in the class action lawsuit of James Damore. In this document, the Google´s former engineer showed an atmosphere of extreme left-wing bias at the company. In addition, the class action lawsuit revealed cases of open shaming and intimidation against white males and conservative individuals.
Combining it with Damore´s class action lawsuit, this new information about Google´s fact-checking feature promises to execute a terrible hit to its image. Currently, when you search for any conservative news outlet, Google will show you a short list of certain topics that the site has focused on. In addition, Google will show you a tab for “reviewed claims,” which is the element where the dirt begins. After all, we´re talking about the stories that have been reviewed by left-wing “fact-checkers” such as Politifact and Snopes.
Just like the tech giant, these so-called “impartial fact-checkers” have always claimed to be completely unbiased. However, their history of partisan favoritism is quite famous. Take for example Politifact, which is funded by a donor of the Clinton Foundation and constantly comes to dubious conclusions that favor Democrats almost every single time. On the other hand, it has been reported on several opportunities that Snopes is staffed with radical anti-Trumpers.
While not all news sites have a “reviewed claims” and some just have “writes about” without any other detail, there´s a common denominator. As reported by the Daily Caller, virtually all the websites affected by this fact-checking system are conservative. Apparently, the only few exceptions are Upworthy and Occupy Democrats.
That´s right, even when CNN has been busted for fake news about the alleged connections to WikiLeaks of Donald Trump Jr, this site is not included. In addition, NBC wasn’t included either, which seems quite ironic considering that they are known for their fib-telling anchors.
Even when ABC had to suspend its superstar journalist Brian Ross for spreading fake news live on air, you won´t find any of it in Google´s fact-checker. What seems even more disgraceful is that another news site not fact-checked by the search giant is Rolling Stone. As everyone knows, their “Rape on Campus” piece is probably the masterpiece of fake news in the history of American journalism.
What seems to be the most horrendous element of this Goebbelesque operation is that claims made by outlets like MSNBC and CNN have been fact-checked in previous opportunities.
For example, CNN´s Don Lemon received a “false” rating four years ago for claiming he could easily “go and buy an automatic weapon.” Of course, this case perfectly represents the definition of “reviewed claim,” considering that Lemon made a factual claim which was properly reviewed by a fact-checker and it turned out to be false. Nevertheless, none of this will appear under a “reviewed claim” tab when you search for CNN at Google.
Of course, Don is not the only example. Since 2010, different claims made by MSNBC´s Rachel Maddow have been rated not also as “false” by Politifact, but also “mostly false,” and even “pants on fire.” This last one is the least truthful rating.
I know the liberal reaction will be "hurr durr, those sites do need fact-checking." Let's allow for that. These are the sites that DON'T trigger any sort of fact-check, and I promise you they absolutely should pic.twitter.com/Pktf8wdJ0n

As reported by the Daily Caller, another terrible element of this operation is the fact that some of the “claims” listed by the search giant are misrepresentations of conservative outlets. Naturally, some unreliable left-wing sites, for some miraculous reason, are not included on the fact-checker are already defending Google and criticizing conservative media for their claims. We´re talking about Gizmodo and The Huffington Post, two outlets that are now claiming that this is nothing more than a conspiracy theory.
Lamentably, this is another case of progressive fake news that won´t be fact-checked by Google. Meanwhile, those outlets that dare to break the liberal echo-chamber will be targeted by a powerful tech company that only wants one version of reality, one point of view, and one single voice.
