Gays are a protected class in America today, but not in the way often assumed. Gays are only cared about by Democrats if the homosexual in question isn’t right leaning, a fact learned firsthand by Milo Yiannopoulos. As the Gateway Pundit has observed today, a “gay hairdresser from New York named Brandon Straka” started the “Walk Away” campaign explaining why he was departing the Democrat Party.
However, he now knows what it feels like to be persecuted for his political stance.
The men leaving in droves are doing so due to the “violence, intolerance, divisiveness and hatred” that they see on the left side of the aisle. Upon entering a camera shop, Straka was abused for his views and even denied service once the staff recognized who he was.
“I’m shaking right now. I just went into a camera store to buy a camera and a light and mic, etc. and they recognized me from tv. I was refused service because they said it was for [sic]‘alt right‘ purposes. That literally just happened,” the slighted man tweeted.
Thankfully, Straka is not backing down from the fight nor pulling away from his departure.
As a matter of fact, this unfair treatment only highlighted why his plight is more vital than before. Sure, the store had the right to act as they did, but that will only hurt them in the long run as more and more citizens wake up to what is happening.
“What happened to me today will NOT slow me down or deter me in any way. We will prevail. #WalkAway” he also typed.
Democrats are learning that their assumptions are quite wrong and rather insulting, for blacks too.
However, it is the Democrats who have historically persecuted other races.
Democrats also assume that gays must all detest Mr. Trump who they see as homophobic, even though the president is a New Yorker with a ton of gay friends and staff members.
At this rate, Straka may need to change his hashtag to #RunAway because any sane person can’t get away quick enough, gay or otherwise.
