Eric Bolling, longtime host at Fox News, and current host of “The Specialists” has just been fired from the network. This decision comes just one day after a Huffington Post article revealed that he had “sent an unsolicited photo of male genitalia via text message to at least two colleagues at Fox Business and one colleague at Fox News.” The investigation into these allegations is continuing but Fox has released the host and canceled his show.
In the statement released by the network they report, “Eric Bolling and Fox have agreed to part ways amicably. We thank Eric for his ten years of service to our loyal viewers and wish him the best of luck.”
It is doubtful that the deal was amicable to Bolling though since he has denied all of the allegations since the began. While the Huffington Post claims that they had “14 sources,” Bolling has gone after the journalist responsible for the story, Yashar Ali. The lawsuit asks for an astounding $50 million but Ali has stated he will stand by his article.
Just received a summons. Eric Bolling is suing me for defamation – $50 million in damages. I stand by my reporting + will protect my sources

Bolling’s lawyer issued a statement on behalf of his client stating; “Mr. Bolling recalls no such inappropriate communications, does not believe he sent any such communications, and will vigorously pursue his legal remedies for any false and defamatory accusations that are made.”
