Two brothers who survived the tragic shooting at the Stoneman Douglas High School humiliated the liberal media by slamming the notion of gun control.
When asked by host Brian Williams about gun control measures, Brandon fired back that there should be more of a focus on mental health issues to determine why someone would carry out such a sick action.
“Gun-wise, I don’t think there’s any way to prevent it,” said Brandon, a senior at the high school.
He added: “You outlaw guns, it just creates higher demand for it. I think it has to do with mental health, though. If he’s been expelled three different times from three different schools, I think he should be helped out.”
He reportedly had a troubled past, was expelled three different times, and was even on the FBI’s radar back in September for suspicious behavior online.
As noted by Brandon, there was clear evidence he likely had mental health issues, which should have been addressed.
Aiden, a freshman at the high school, said he became aware of the situation when he “heard a few pops.”
He said he became aware when his friend ran into the restroom screaming frantically that there was a shooter. He also said the shooter pulled a fire-alarm, which authorities report was likely a trick to force more students into the hallway.
“We were all a little suspicious until the fire alarm was pulled,” Aiden said, adding that his entire class and teacher were unharmed during the attack.
The brothers’ interview begins around the 1:00 mark, with the comments on gun control beginning around 3:30 during the interview.
